I had another appt today, fluid is 7 (was 7 when they first said it was low, then 6.5, then 7.5 last week), blood pressure was lowest its ever been during this pregnancy at 112/78, and NST was good. His heart rate still dips but not regularly like it did 2 weeks ago when they made me go over to the hospital. I asked my midwife to put me back to modified bedrest and first she said no then I said I'm only 4 days from full term so she said we could go modified, I couldnt drive and still had to take it easy. Which ofcourse I will because 7 was where my fluid was at when they first put me on bedrest and his heart rate dippping, I'll still take it easy. I'm just happy to be able to get out of the house a little bit!

So sorry I haven't been on in a while, it sounds like things are looking like your little one will be early. I hope your feeling ok these days. Have you gotten out since she okayed you? How often do you have to go get the little one checked out? Do you have to go to the hospital for the NST or does your doc do it? Sorry for all the questions, but I'm not in the loop on all that. Hang in there and I'll do my best to keep up on you better!

Congrats on your lodge. I am sorry this pregnacy has been so up and down for you. I hope everything is going well and that your little one will be able to stay put for a few more days.

Yes I've been out a bit with dh, running some errands, he does most of the running and I mostly sit in the car but I go to a few places here and there. I go weekly for u/s' for fluid, nsts, and to see the midwife. My ob's office is connected to the hospital, I do have the nst's at the dr's office but its right there by the hospital!
Thanks girls for keeping up with me!

Sorry girls I forgot to post about my last dr's appt. I went in on Wed the 20th, my fluid was "b/t 6.6-7.3", and he weighed 6lbs 8oz, which kind of surprised me because exactly a month before he weighed 5lbs 8oz, so he only gained 1 lb in a month???? His head and other measurements measured on target but his belly was measuring 3 wks behind? Dr. said he's in 39th percentile so I shouldn't worry, still seemed odd to me. She then talked about inducing me on Jan 2 and I said no I didn't want to be induced then. She went and talked to high risk dr's so that we had a game plan whether fluid levels or other things changed and came back saying that if my cervix was favorable that day they could have induced me that day (my cervix was 1 cm dialated and high, the baby is very high) so I go back this Wednesday, if my fluid is 6 or less, they induce with no choice, if it's higher than 6 and my cervix looks more favorable they'll induce if we want to (we don't). So we'll see, I doubt my fluid will drop, its never been below 6.5, however I've had lots of swelling this week and the last time I swelled this bad was when they first caught the low fluid and put me on bedrest - oh yeah she totally lifted the bedrest except allowing me to go back to work full time.

My MW told me to AWLAYS take the day before and day of the ultrasounds to drink gatorade or some other electrolytle drink and eat a major protein based meal before the scan (so the baby moves well). I'm sending you good fuild no induction vibes

On a curious note is there some conversation table for amniotic fluid. I neever had US with DD1 and I have with the twins - but our is always on a scale of 1-5 and I have always been a 4 to 4.6. But isn;t a full scale like 1-20 or something - our perinatologist must run some kind of conversation for the measurement they use???? not sure.

Your little guy sounds a great size babies tend to gain .25-.5lbs per week so your doctor is right in that he falls within normal. He will be fine! Congratulations on your lodge!!!!

Thanks girls. Still hanging out here, the baby and my cervix are high and only dialated to 1 cm, I've tried walking and sex and nothing is changing it, I've been at this stage for 2 weeks now. Have another appointment on Wednesday, we'll see what happens.
