My name is Jennifer (or Jenn on the board). My Dh Justin and I have been married for 2 years, 3 in January. When we were engaged I insisted that we TTC as soon as we get married and Jus wanted to wait 5 years. I had been Dx with Endometriosis and knew ttc wasn't going to be easy for me. I never tried to bring up getting pg b/c I knew he wasn't ready. But in Aug of 06 I had an abnormal pap and the nurse had me scared to death thinking I had cancer. I had a biopsy and the dr was a huge jerk and said I'd never get pg like a normal girl. That crushed me! I called Jus crying and he was determined to prove the dr wrong. I got off the pill in Dec and we start TTC. In January I went to the OB for a plan of action and she offered me Clomid. (I've skipped my pevious life here so let me backtrack, I have been married before and we TTC with injections and IUIs with no success, so its not like I was offered drugs right away for no reason).

Anyways, I refused the Clomid for the first month but then broke down and got it filled. We tried for 3 months on Clomid before going to an RE. I have to say, the best RE I have ever seen....we love him! In July 07 I started being test so I could proceed with IVF. After what felt like FOREVER we started injections in Oct 07. I overstimmed with the meds and we retrieved 16 eggs but didn't get to transfer any back in Oct/Nov. 10 embryos made it to the freeze and I had to wait for my body to heal before we could do a FET (frozen embryo tranfser). After one AF I was better and on Dec 17th I transfered two embryos. On Christmas day I got a BFP and was thrilled! I called everyone I knew, even coworkers and bosses and ong time friends...everyone knew what I had gone through to get pg and everyone was so excited. Then, on Dec 31st I went in for my 2nd beta just to be told I was about to m/c Sad I was devestated! I sunk into a big depression that I didn't feel like I would ever get out of. We talked about waiting several months to try another FET but I just couldn't stop trying. I bought a puppy Smile to give me something to love and take care of and to give me a distraction and then we started over with the meds. On Feb 21st we transferred two more embryos. On March 1st I tested and got another BFP. This time we didn't tell anyone, in fact, only the girls on the IVF board on pg.org knew we tried again. My betas were great and my first u/s showed one beautiful little baby with a strong little HB. That was probably the best feeling I had up until that point, seeing that u/s.

Since then my pg has been fairly uneventful, in my mind anyways. No m/s at all, thank God! I did have some headaches and back pain, I dealt with PUPPPs briefly and now I am just at the "OMG, I'm 9 months pg and miserable" phase. But other than all that I am enjoying every second I have to be pregnant and not taking one second for granted.

When I'm asked about why I want to have a NCB I just say "it took me 100's of needles to get me to where I am today, I can do without anymore" Blum 3 Although that's just my quick answer, it usually ends the conversation. I am really eager to experience labor and delivery and I can't wait to meet this little man.

Here are some random pictures that will give you a bit deeper look at me Blum 3

Me and Justin - engagement and wedding:

My version of antidepressants, my little love - Remi:

Deacon at 6 days old - not certain but I think he is the one on the right, just a feeling:

HAHA. OMG we could take pics of the hooters girls holding them! Well maybe. I might be picky about letting some hooters skanks holding my baby. lol. I totally want to get a hooters shirt and nurse in it in public. HAHA.

Today I feel like he is really low. I've gone to the bathroom every 30-40 minutes today and its a lot, not just my usual sprinkle Blum 3

And there is so much pressure down there I am feeling like I have to pee as soon as I stand up from peeing.

I go back to the dr this Friday and I am hoping he will check me and tell me I am dilated a little. Anything at this point would make me so happy!

This is me...talking to myself Wink

He HAS to have dropped. I can breathe so much easier now. And I am still peeing way too often. I've also started to get these little pinches "down there" that make me nervous.

Can I get a YES PERSON to tell me that all of these are signs of labor? LOL

Well I'm late and still trying to figure out how to jump into all these lodges, but congrats. I loved the intro. You've had quite the journey but you are so close to being done now. I does sound to me as though he has dropped.

ROFL

I am having a lot of the same symptoms, especially the peeing! So while I have no experience in this at all, I am going to HOPE it's our bodies starting to get ready!

It sounds like a sign he is heading south for D-day! Which I guess is a super early sign that labor is imenent!

Welcome to your lodge and thanks for sharing so much of your story! Things happen for a reason! It is so wonderful that Deacon will be here soon. I also think its sounds like he has dropped. Yahoo

FWIW, I also have Endometriosis and ''wouldn't get pregnant on my own''. Charting and Clomid failed and we decided to take a 'break'. Well, during our break, when I suposebly wasn't even ovulating, I became pregnant with DS1. Then when he was 4mos old, I was on the mini-pill and became pregnant with DS2. After I had him, when he was 6 months old I had to have an ovary removed and I then went on Seasonale. After a 3 month cycle on that, I wound up pregnant with #3. Sorry to ramble, but I had to share. I heard so many crappy things when I was TTC and I know you did too.

Doctors are wrong all the time. You are proof! Just know that Deacon is a blessing and that it is COMPLETELY possible to have better fertility after you have him. I can't wait to learn more about you!

Thanks for your encouragement. We are hoping that after having Deacon we are able to conceive on our own. I'd like to space out our kids by 2-3 years but would be completely thrilled if I was pg immediately.

I hate that Drs are so negative!

I know a lady who tried for 19 years to get pregnant. She finally got pregnant and had a baby boy delivered by c-section where they discovered she had severe endo. They told her the only way she could get pregnant again was to get pregnant immediately. They waited 2 years and finally started trying and got pregnant immediately with a healthy baby girl. Doctors definitely don't know everything.

I'm a little behind, but I enjoyed your intro and all your pictures. Your story and struggle makes your little one even a bit more special:) I'm so happy for you that your going to be parents! Not that is matters, but I thought I would share, I have a cousin who tried EVERYTHING to get prego, she finally did and had healthy baby. They were told there was no way she'd ever concieve on her own, but the prevented just in case when he turned 2 they stopped preventing and bam next month she's pregnant again. You never know:)

I'm at home now with my 2 BFFs. They are decorating my house today for my baby shower tomorrow. So fun! We just got back from getting massages.
