~*~*Suprena's (suprena) Birth Lodge*~*~

Hi Mama,
I know I didn't ask you, but I feel like you should have a lodge. It'd be a great inspiration for lots of other mama's to read you story, and a good chance for you to have a place to process. Of course use it as much or little as you wish, but thanks for informing us of your plans!

Welcome, Suprena! You're so primed for a VBAC! You're going to do great!

and if you're wanting those ctrx to get regular, try a little DTD! sperm has lots of prostaglandins to soften the cervix and orgasm releases oxytocin which kicks up ctrx!

Can't wait to read about your VBAC journey!

Due date: May 8th
Thanks ladies. You gals are great. Well I guess I give a little update about me:
I am 28 and DH just turned 28 today. I am an industrial engineer, which means I do a bunch of process improvement and continuous improvement projects in the manufacturing field. I work full time and stay pretty busy. DH is a pilot in the Ohio Guard. On his off days he does side construction jobs. We have a beautiful son who will be 2 at the end of June. He just got fully potty trained a few weeks ago. We use cloth diapers so not having to do that laundry has been great, if only for a few weeks! DS is absolutely the center of my world. I can’t believe that I will feel that way about another baby so soon.
DS birth:
DH was training/living in Oklahoma and I was in Ohio. Went to my 38 week dr. appointment and she said I was measuring big to come back in the morning and have an ultrasound. At the ultrasound she said and there is his head...he was breach and weight guess was 9lbs and 11 oz. Needless to say I was shocked all around. Called DH in a panic. When I met with the doctor we decided to try aversion that afternoon. DH and I talked on the phone while he was getting a flight home. After we talked we decided not to do the aversion. We went ahead and did a C-section. Nathan was born that night weighing 9lbs 5oz.

Looking back I made the right decision for the situation.

This time I am looking forward to a natural childbirth. I know it will not be a walk in the park but it is what I want. At my 38 week appointment the ultrasound estimated her weight at 7lbs 5 oz. So I canceled my scheduled c-section.

At my 39 week appointment my doctor said that I was 70% effaced and dilated between 3 and 4 cm. I have had lots of irregular contractions for the past 2 weeks. I am very ready for this baby to come. Growing impatient.

Good for you momma for sticking to your guns. I know all about impatience, trust me. It's worth the wait and the end is very near.

Thanks ladies. Monday and Tuesday were not great days for me. I had a migraine from you know where. Today I am feeling much better. I am back to work and just wishing my LO would make her apperance. I am growing impatient. I just thought she would of been here by now. I am trying to think about other things but it is not working. My work is so slow right now becasue I can't start any new projects and have handed alot of my work offf already. I guess I am going to go for a walk around the plant and bug my co-workers.

I am still here. I am getting the looks and questions of I thought you were going to have that baby. It is fustrating because I just want her to come. I am tired of being pregnate and I just want to hold her. I am looking forward to breastfeeding her and snuggling up with her. DH and I were talking last night how this time we know how much work they are but the rewards are so high. I was feeling really good yesterday and wanted to go for a walk but it was raining out.
Last night DS fell and busted his lip pretty good. It was bleeding and it got all over my shirt. Once he stoped crying he was very interested in the blood and then he wanted me to go get a clean shirt. He was even walking into my bedroom. Once he fell asleep I checked his lip out and it is going to be swollen today. All teeth are intact and look good. He has already slightly chiped one tooth.

Sorry to hear that you're getting the annoying comments about the baby not being here yet. The baby will come when she is ready--she knows better than anyone else. Sorry your DS fell and busted his lip. I hate when little ones get hurt! Good thing those baby teeth are temporary!
