Welcome to your lodge, Mindie! We haven't had very many new lodges for a while, but we have quite a few December mamas!

Thanks guys! I just feel bad because I haven't started any lodges..oops.

Anyway, I had my 36 week midwife home visit.
* Baby is still LOA, just not engaged. I start going to the chiropractor tomorrow and then weekly until B Day to help line things up for him.
* My BP was fantastic. Being in your own home helps that.
* His heart rate was 134.
* I am measuring at 44cm, which is what I was at this point last time. I didn't get any bigger.
* All of my supplies look great.

After tomorrow, I can safely deliver at home. Being that Derek was born less than 11 months ago, I am doubting I will go into December (Though I could be just jinxing myself when I say that and end up going to 42 weeks or something crazy)

I am nesting like crazy!! We had some work done to the house and I have been wanting to tackle EVERYTHING that needs done (paint, moving furniture, major stuff.) We did get Derek into his own room finally since we will need the mini crib that he had been sleeping in that is in our room. Today, I raised the crib mattress, moved Derek's stuff into his dresser in his room, and got the box of little baby stuff out of the closet and sorted/put away. I also hung mini blinds in D1 and D2's room. I swear, I have a list.....
Also, my mom will be here Nov 21, which happens to be a full moon. She is staying for a week. Maybe Daniel will be born then, or wait until Nana leaves. I am kinda torn on which would be better...In one hand, she kinda gets on my nerves. And I know she would be saying all kinds of stupid s*it while I am birthing since I tend to be very vocal (OK, so I scream bloody murder. And, she is just negative and NOT what I need while my body needs positive reinforcement) Also, I loved having it just DH, the midwives, and I. On the other hand, my kids are all off school the whole week, and it would be awesome to have an extra set of hands there. Then, DH could take his week of FMLA off the following week. It would be nice to have 2 weeks of assistance. So, we shall see. One visit with the chiropractor last time made me have Derek the next morning.

The chiropractor today hurt like a b***h. I must be super duper jacked up back there. He said my pelvis was...twisted (?) to the right slightly and that the baby can engage now. I had some nasty contrax afterward. Last night was horrible. My hips are starting to hurt bad (especially after everything I did yesterday!) and I was up every 2 hours peeing. Happy 36 weeks to me!

Happy 36 weeks! It must be nice to cross the Far-Enough-To-Home-Birth threshold! Hope your back and hips start to relax and you feel better.

Hooray for sleep! I've thought about going to a chiropractor a few times this pregnancy, though baby is definitely as engaged as she can get without popping out.

Still pregnant. Got lots of yard work done with DH this weekend. Lots of painful, erratic contrax yesterday that lead to nowhere. Nothing going on "down there" (bloody show or increased mucus) I have a midwife appointment tomorrow and then another chiro visit on Wednesday (37 weeks)

I have a midwife appointment at 11 this morning. She doesn't do internals, so I won't have any cervix change numbers or anything. Other than that....I will update later Smile

Mine only checks during labor as requested or when you feel like pushing to make sure you are complete.

Anyway, baby sounded good (hr=144) We are still LOA and in great position, I had a very small amount of leukocytes but I have no UTI symptoms and no blood in my urine. My BP was 110/70, and I was measuring...49cm :eek:. I am a big woman so she isn't concerned but still  She said her 11lb baby moms measure 50+cm. Good thing I only have size 1 diapers. For being that big though, I really don't feel too bad. And this pregnancy has only set me back about 27lbs. And since I have no symptoms of GD, she said there was no real reason to be concerned.
Chiropractor again tomorrow.

37 weeks tomorrow...Almost there!!

Still doing weekly visits to the chiro, and still no baby. I am finding it difficult to even lurk on my BB and I feel on the verge of tears. Not that I physically hurt, I just want my baby. I have been having prodromal labor for a month now and it is really taking it's toll on me. I haven't noticed my mucus plug or any bloody show. But then again, I have a weird cervix. I was only a fingertip and very posterior when my water broke last time. I went from nothing to 8cm in 45 minutes. I haven't really felt up in there to see if I am soft or anything since I really have no idea what I am feeling for.

Aw, I hope that the rest of your pg goes by quickly. Sounds like things are tough. I am right there with you on the prodromal labor for weeks. It's no fun! Oh, and I know what you mean about bb's and such. I am really trying to keep things simple myself and stay in my little bubble of peace as much as possible. Hang in there, Mindie!

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. My mom was here the whole week of Thanksgiving. She cooked and cleaned the whole time, so I got a really nice break. Plus the kids were up HER butt the whole time, so it was nice for me. She left this morning. 9 Days until my DD. I posted this morning about all my lovely GI activities. I still have no excessive mucus and no bloody show. All the BH contrax seem to be gone too. And I think my DH is getting tired of DTD...LOL. I had to pick DS2 up from school because he had a whopping temperature of 100. He didn't feel hot to me and he is acting a little tired. Nothing a good nights' sleep can't fix, but he can't go to school for 24 hours. Tomorrow, I get to POAS and get a proof of pregnancy for Daniel's birth certificate. My underground midwives can't report that "That baby emerged from that vagina" to the vital stats place so I have to do all the paperwork and such.

hope the baby comes soon!
