AH! That is so frustrating! I'm sorry you're still not getting your stuff yet after all.

I'm so sorry that you're still having so much trouble getting your stuff! It's not fair for you to have to deal with that much stress right now. And then to have your daughter get sick on top of everything else -- Aargh! I hope that you're able to get your stuff back and that things calm down for you so you can have a little time to relax before the baby comes!

Ok, I'm back in the world! I've been totally out of touch over the weekend, barely went online at all, didn't even call my parents! On Thursday I was so nervous to talk to anyone! And everytime Yoram called from the road I got a ctrx!
But they finally got here at 8pm, and they put together the beds before they left - and let me tell you, I have been sooo much happier since sleeping in an actual bed!!

So now we're living in a total wreckage of boxes and packing paper and the realization that we have absolutely no storage space! And despite having gotten rid of tons of our stuff before leaving, we still have waaay more stuff than most Israelis have! But I'm much happier with this situation than not having our stuff!

Right now, the technician from the company we have our warranty with for our appliances is coming out Wed afternoon to hook up our washer and dryer and oven, and I can't wait to start cooking and baking things to go in the freezer for after the birth! (and how aproppriate that it is happening on Wed, right before I will be discussing that on my teleclass!)

So I purposely am leaving the birth room for last to unpack and set up, cuz then baby needs to stay in longer - but I'm 35 weeks now, and my ctrx have really slowed down since my beds got here! So I really feel like I'm in the clear! And Carol is coming today for a checkup and I am even going to talk to her about making the trip down to Jerusalem this weekend for my nephew's Bar Mitzvah!

I'll come back later to post a link to pics of all our boxes, and to update on the MW appt!

Thanks for all your support girls!

I'm so glad things finally got there. Hopefully your DH will help you get everything unpacked in time, and if not, at least out of the way.

Oh, I hope she clears you for the Bar Mitzvah! That would be a great way to celebrate finally being settled. It's not that far to Jerusalem from where you are, is it?

The appointment went well, baby sounds great! my belly's measuring 36 cm, head down, and baby gave Carol a nice big kick!

I did get cleared to go to Jerusalem! Yay!! Stacey - it's about a 2 hour drive down the Jordan Valley - beautiful scenery! And we'll be staying through Sunday night. It's going to be fun! Only annoying part is that we don't have a car yet, so we have to rent one again... just feels like such a waste of money! But at least they don't charge us for Sat. (coolest thing to walk into Hertz and say, "I'm a Sabbath observer," and they just eliminate the charge for Sat! Things I love about living in Israel!)

Also, I got my supply list, and I already have almost everything on it!

Still left to complain about: my reflux has increased like 10fold! So annoying! I can barely eat any fruit without gagging. Apples seem to be ok, but they're not in season, so I hate buying them, cuz I know they're coming from a freezer! And even water gives me reflux - uug! I know I should take some ACV - it works every time, but it's such icky tasting "medicine"!

Ok, to end on a good note, I am really enjoying my birth ball!

well at least the appt went well. I've never had to deal with reflux, but it doesn't sound pleasant.
