Yay for sleeping in a bed! I'm glad you finally got your stuff back! I hope you have fun at the Bar Mitzvah this weekend (and that your reflux lets up)!

I am feeling really good this morning, and I had fresh brewed coffee which is a precious commodity here!!

Yoram has a job interview today! It's in the industrial park that is just outside our city so he's going to ride his bike there (btw, when I say "city", imagine a small enclave of homes and stores set in the middle of fields, forests, and mountains! The population of Katzerin would fit into Madison Square Garden, with seats to spare!)

Anyway, while he's there, he's also going to go to the winery and some other businesses to drop off his resume and talk to their HR pple.

I am praying that he comes back with at least one job offer!

It's the start of the Hebrew month of Tamuz today, which is the month that Netanel was born, so I am hoping that this bears good tidings for us too.

Our neighbor is coming over today to set up our electrical box so our dryer can be installed tomorrow!! Sooo excited to do laundry! (isn't that weird??)

Also on the agenda today is a meeting with the woman I am interviewing tomorrow on my conference call. I just want to make sure we finalize the details of what information we want to cover about postpartum health. Obviously we won't be able to share all the information in a 90 min call, but that's why we're offering a full course in Sept. But i want to make sure that at the end of the call, listeners walk away with good, useful information that they can put into practice whether or not they join the course.

If any of you have a minute to check out the info page www.motherbabywellness.org, and give me feedback on what we're planning on sharing, add anything that you think I'm missing... and also pass the link on to anyone you think might benefit from the information!

    Thanks!!

Morning in Beit HaSchwell... Yoram is outside now w/ our neighbor changing a switch in the electrical box to a 25 amp for the dryer... in 10 min the timeframe of arrival both the gas co and the installation guy begins... I have been having some ctrx again last night and again this morning, like the kind that go all the way around and at the end you need to pee cuz of the baby's head on my bladder!

Anyway, I'm trying to ignore them, and relax and drink a lot!

Job interviews for Yoram are slow going... I'm getting nervous for him, b/c a lot of really good opporunities have come up that he has gotten called for interviews, etc... and then they don't make an offer... I know it's eating at his confidence and that just effects his whole being.

He has a few things to follow up on today, so just keep us in your thoughts that he gets an offer today!!

Did I tell you I was interviewed yesterday for the local magazine?? It was so cool! One of the women in the community is the "English language" writier for the Shishi BaGolan publication, most of the magazine is Hebrew, and then there is always a Russian and a Spanish article (There are a lot of people here from Spain and Morroco) And just a few weeks ago the Anglos in the community convinced the publication that there are enough readers who would be interested in reading an English article. So this week I am being featured on the topic of NCB!!

I'll definitely post the article when it comes out!

Ok, I need a potty break - again!

Ok! the oven is completely installed! Yoram and the kids took the racks and stuff to the stream to "tovel" them. (Jewish ritual alert! Anything metal or glass that would be used for preparing food needs to be dunked in flowing water and a blessing recited b4 we can use it.)

only 2 more steps left to go and all our appliances will be installed! Yoram needs to find the right outlet plug (an a/c one) for the dryer, and the plumber needs to come back b/c the drain pipe that he set up (which will drain into our garden! yay for water recycling!) doesn't fit the hose from the washer...

So I'll be making baked ziti for dinner, and throwing in a load of laundry before the call tonight!

I'm so excited!!! And Yoram rearranged the boxes to look a bit neater while we continue working on acquiring/building all the necessary storage for all our stuff, so even though nothing's really changed, the house looks a bit neater now!

    I'll post pics tomorrow! Woohoo!!!

That is wonderful that you finally got your things!!! I'm also enjoying reading about the various traditions in Israel. Although if my dh had to install anything electrical or otherwise, it would never happen. lol Now to keep that baby baking!
