Things I like to do:
~I love going to beaches or traveling with my family! It really is a highlight in all of our lives!
~I love to read but find I read to fast for my habit!
~I love doing different crafts and sewing. I do crochet some.
~DH is a ME and artist... I love to critique his work and help him improve it.
~I love cooking (just not while preggo! LOL
~PG.org is a wonderful yet terrible love of mine! I spend way too much time on here! (while kids are napping or before they wake or after they go to bed! I have no life!)
Pregnant with Miriam
Pregnant with the twins approximately 29 - 30 Weeks
Pregnant with Samuel
Pregnant things I enjoy - most everything but the painful things like acid reflux! LOL I love to feel my baby move in me. IN fact... after baby is born that is the first depressing thing to me... not feeling that baby in me ever again. It is such a bitter sweet feeling.
I love the need or desire to protect this special being at all costs that I get. I become a mamma bear from the time I find out I have conceived to (well, it has not ended yet!)
I love the baby needing me - internally and externally. They are helpless and rely on me. Not only that, there is an unconditional love or bond that is there from day one! INside me!
I love educating myself and discovering the things that are best for me and baby in the entire birthing process! I love fighting for that right! I also love that it is my body and baby... and that ultimately the decision is mine (along with DH.) Heaven forbid the nurse or Dr. who thinks they can run me over with their superiority! It does not work that way! It never should!!!
About me:
I am half Guatemalan. I am the oldest of 6 children. My dad is dead (and although it is sad in some ways it is a very good thing too.) due to complications from heart surgery. One of my brothers is also dead. He died 6 months to the day from when my dad did. The circumstances are not completely known. They think it is either, Suicide, Assisted Suicide, or Murder. My opinion is that it is murder from what I know... but he is not here to ask and they cannot prove anything solidly either. He was 19 when he died. I named my son Samuel after him. My son Jared is named after an uncle that passed away on DH's side from a river accident. 2 people we dearly love!
I think one of my greatest accomplishments was writing my life story and publishing it.It happened at a very trying but needed time and was one of the greatest healing experiences of my life. My husband was and is the greatest supporter and held my hand through the entire process.
The most rewarding and cherished accomplishment though is being a mom! I never thought it would happen - and now that I am I am so grateful! I love my children and I love being the mother of Nathan's children. There is not another man I would want to share this experience with!
Anyway, just a bit about me.
I love your lodge, Cindy, I feel like I can really get involved because of all the pictures etc.
I'm really sorry to hear how hard your journey has been.Good luck with the new LO, I'll bet you'll have your hands full when he comes along

Lea-Mama to Tegan, born 17/08/08 with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus
Very interesting... I would love to read that. You know - When Nathanya came out it was obvious that there was an age difference. She looked like an alien vs Jared who looked like a baby that had a small baby. The size difference was ounces... but there really was no doubts once she was here. I was also told that if the roles were reversed they believe that Jared would have died. The boy was just as not as strong of a fighter as the little girl. I thought that was interesting as well. It turned out well though.
I love all of your wedding pictures, your dress was absolutley georgeous!! You two are such a cute coupleHe looks a lot like my friend Kirt who's Navajo.
I didn't realize you'd had so many losses & that it'd taken you so long to get pregnant, goodness! I think it's really neat how many littles you have after all that you've been through. What a blessing!
I love looking at all of your pictures too, it's a lot of fun! You have such a neat family![]()
Mama to 7 curious, wild & wonderful little ones ♥
Yeppers. We stopped going when I was a teen though, and then in my early-mid twenties I went through a spiritual journey, looking for the right faith because as you mentioned, I too had many hangups with the LDS faith... and then met my DH who is Catholic. We've been married two years and were married in the Catholic church, but it took the baptism of my daughter last April for me to really start to look into Catholicism. I haven't looked back much. I go to weekly classes, and the more I learn about it, the more I fall in love with it. So yes, I am very happy! Thanks!
Good luck on your journey!
That is creepy to read because aside from the m/c while preggo my story with my twins is almost identical! I was monitored weekly where each week confirmed that Nathanya was aprox 2-3 weeks younger than Jared. So she was born at 32 W gestation and Jared 34 W gestation. I remember looking into what the dr.s told me and I have a book called Twins, Twins, and more...
That book also described my situation and said it was VERY rare... but does and can occur.
How cool. Thanks for sharing it with me!
