How wonderful that your MIL will be able to come out!! I know you've been worried about that for awhile wondering who would watch the kids, what a blessing that is

You do look low. My DD sat low for a few weeks before she was born and it was really uncomfortable on my cervix and perineum, but it was also my first, so I can only imagine it could get more uncomfortable with subsequent kids.Hope you get some relief from your discomfort. Laying on your side doesn't make the pressure ease up at all? (Not that you can tell your kiddos you are going to just lay on your side all day...)
I could see that "Ok all of you grab 1 toy and head to the living room. Today is mommy's couch day. So you all get to play in the living room with that one special toy, while i lie there directing you not to hit each other upside the head!" ok so that's probably what it would sound like in my house, but seriously I hope you find a way to make you feel better.... maybe you should invest in a large bath tub or birth pool for relaxing in at night after dh is home and the kids are in bed. i have heard that it can be very relaxing to get the gravity off ones self by floating in the pool.
