Hey Katie, just checking you out here!!! I have been thinking about you lately wondering how you were doing. I am getting so excited for you!!!
Oh and I think of Delia everytime I think of pineapple too, LOL!
Ugh! That's how I feel today. Even DH noticed and asked me if something was wrong because I'm moving slower and I'm spacing out. It feels like my brain is on vacation. I really need to take a few days off, but my boss just hired my replacement (this is the 2nd one - the first one never showed up) and I need to get a turnover binder ready for her.
I'm really considering all the ways I can induce labor. At my Bradley class, the instructor mentioned a "Section 6 pressure point" (or something like that) on the inside of your calf. It's a pressure point that is supposed to induce labor. I dreamt last night that I decided to just start pushing on it. I'm tempted to push on it now, but I know I'll be disappointed when it doesn't work.
I shouldn't be in such a hurry, though. I'm still almost 2 weeks from my due date, afterall. Jacob only came a little over a week early (which would be Monday if this girl decides to be like her brother). I still have so much to do before this baby comes. I'm just tired of the cramps and the BH contractions. I'm done with the dress rehearsals - bring on the show!
Another stalker Katie
Pineapple days.... ahhhh the memories Curry and spicy food are things I tried too, but in the end I think good old fashioned walking did the trick to get Jeena out!
Can't wait to meet your little girl!

Jeena Kongju (Jan. 20/06) and Maria Konae (June 18/09)
Yes! bring on the show!ha.
I'm having a lot of nerve pain on my right side. It hurts to sit and still hurts when I stand just a little less. I had the sciatic pain before (running down the back side of my thigh) but this is all across the top side of my thigh.
Katie - she'll come when she's ready. But I know the feeling, it's like watching a pot of water and willing it to boil faster. Hate that you're dealing with the leg pain though, ouch!
I bought a fresh pineapple today and thought of you. Andrew wanted me to cut it for dinner but we were just about to eat and I wasn't going to wrestle with a pineapple. ha ha ha ha But really, I thought of you when I bought it (and when I was enjoyed the fresh samples of it at Target)

Gwen, I had a cup of fresh pineapple from the cafeteria this morning.
I've had lots of BH contrax and this leg pain is driving me absolutely bonkers -- it better be gone when my baby arrives. I pulled out the bassinet and bouncer from the basement storage closet and washed all the parts I could (plus my toddler's booster seat - it was nasty!). The bassinet is all put-together and sitting in our room, now. The bouncer is all together. I still need to wash the fabric on the carseat - I'll do that tonight. My hospital bag is nearly finished (just waiting on DH's extra clothes, a robe, and slippers).
Most of my contrax and leg pain have been at work. Hmmm, a sign? Speaking of work, the 2nd person we tried to hire as my replacement decided that she didn't want the job afterall. So, there's almost no way of getting someone in here before I leave. I'm starting a turnover binder today so that I can get the knowledge in my head down on paper for the next person. There's NO WAY I'm coming in (especially unpaid) to turnover in the weeks after my baby is born.
