I hope your dinner was fun, and that things get moveing for you tonight!
Ok ladies, I think I hopefully had a productive evening. I had a couple of cx around 2:30pm and then I just felt crampy for a while. Took a nap and got up around 7pm and had pretty steady cx from about 8pm til 3am, anywhere from 6 min to 30 min apart, but still not really painful. I was was very crampy all night after the cx stopped, and I couldn't sleep very well, just an hour or two at a time. I just got up (it's noon here) and had one more. Tons more CM, now it's got a yellow tint, and a lot of rectal pressure like I need to have a BM. DH is about to make some lunch for us (love him), and then I'll probably take a shower and maybe we'll go to the mall and see what happens. I hope I get to join Kristina today!!

I know what you mean about the rectal pressure. I've had it off and on since Friday night! I think in my case it's just from him dropping.
Hope your little miracle makes an appearance soon! My DH offered to put the "limo" (the big stroller) in the car for me before he left for work so I could go walk the mall but I'm holding off for now. Maybe tomorrow... Hoping it works for ya!

Cx have been coming roughly every 10 minutes for about the past hour and a half, and they just started to get slightly painful about 30 minutes ago. On and off backache, too. And I think the baby must have really dropped overnight because I'm having quite a bit of groin pain when I try to walk. Here's hoping this keeps up!
Connie - I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that pressure. That's probably the most uncomfortable thing I've experienced so far!

So excited! Just went to bathroom and there's slight pink to the CM! It's so funny how I've spent the past 30-something weeks praying not to see anything resembling pink when I go to the BR, and now I'm happy about it. How strange human reproduction is! Wish me luck.

Hey! Sounds exciting and promising! I'm a compulsive toilet paper checker too LOL No sign of losing plug here, but I am having a lot of pressure still... I spent most of Friday night with that rectal pressure, laying down, no matter what position I was in. It did cross my mind that I might be in labor but obviously I wasn't!

It's a BOY!!!
Things kind of stopped around midnight last night, but I woke up a little before seven to some full-force action! Thought I was having intestinal cramps, but I could soon feel the cx. So far no real back labor (yay!). I had some red spotting, a loose BM, and I threw up the toast I ate for breakfast. At first the cx were pretty close (<10 min), and intense, but only lasting about 30-45 sec. For about the past hour, they've been less than 5 min and lasting at least a minute for the most part. At the peak, it's really hard to stay still and relax, but I'm trying. I think we'll be heading for the hospital soon. I better be dilating, darn it! I'll post updates when I can.

I just saw on our birth board that your contractions are 2-3 minutes apart and you are heading in.
Good luck!
I can't wait to hear the news!
