Sounds like you had quite a productive day after a bad morning. I'm glad you guys got a lot done!

I hope the heartburn subsided and you were able to get some sleep.

Once the heartburn went away I had trouble getting back to sleep. So I ended up sleeping 1130-130, then 5-715. Yeah, I'm tired! It's about 1215 now and I still haven't been home. Hoping to make it home and get the refrigerated/frozen groceries inside before the rain starts...

Well, it drizzled on me a bit but I was able to get the cold groceries in, wake Ethan up and get him in, and then walk to the apartment office to pick something up. That walk was so tough! I was pushing Ethan in his umbrella stroller but I don't think that made a difference. Once I got home it took forever to catch my breath again!

I had a bit of a post-nasal drip yesterday and today my throat is swollen! I don't know if it's from the weather change and all the dust we kicked up yesterday, or if it's another cold and those things are just making it worse Other than being tired and out of breath easy, I don't feel really bad. I took some meds and did my neti pot and they helped. I might try some warm tea later if it gets worse.

I picked up travel bottles, small tube of toothpaste, etc today so I can pack my hospital bag. I think that will be my task for tomorrow. I still can't find my missing PJ's to pack though

One of Jesse's coworkers is bringing him home tonight. I just didn't feel good about getting out in the frozen precipitation unless I absolutely had to. Plus I don't want to bring Ethan out in it. People around here don't know how to drive on icy roads and it's really dangerous for us to be out in those conditions!

I wonder how much snow we'll actually get... It's so rare this far south, and we had some last winter that stayed on the ground a while. Two years in a row would be really something!

Wow that is crazy. Glad you got in before it started though. I hope you feel better, nothing worse than being sick while that pg. Tea is a good idea, always helps my throat. Maybe add some hony and lemon to it as well.

I hope you get some sleep tonight! Sorry about the heartburn. And yay about a co-sleeper. I just bought one off of craigslist and am really happy I did. Of course I haven't used it yet, but it makes me somewhat comforted to have it around.

Another night of insomnia... It's 6am and I've slept about 3 hours total. I'm wondering if it might be because I'm still taking Zyrtec-D. I've been staying congested at night so I take it before bed. Wonder if the regular Zyrtec would help the congestion but let me sleep? I guess it's worth a try... May pick some up Sunday.

Having to pee so much tonight hasn't helped matters any! But on the bright side, I didn't have any heartburn Still have the sore and swollen throat but I don't feel bad.

Wow crazy you got snow 2 years in a row! Was it enough to stick around?

Sorry you are feeling crummy & can't sleep. Tea has been my best friend the last week or so while I've been sick. And a little honey in it sounds wonderful! Hope you can find something to help.

So I'm pretty sure it's the Sudafed in the Zyrtec-D that's causing the insomnia. I'll try to go later and get some regular Zyrtec for tonight. I'm so congested at night that I can't go without taking something We keep the ac fan running and have a hepa air purifier in here too, both of which help the congestion. And I do a neti pot a few times a day, including before bed.

I took a small dose of Benadryl a while ago. My plan is to lay down and take a nap. That stuff usually knocks me out! I just took a small dose though. Hopefully it's enough to help me get some sleep but not enough make me feel hungover when I wake up. That's what a normal dose does to me!

Kristen, it snowed for a while but didn't stick this time
