Yeah, I've been trying to hydrate myself more, too.
One other thing I've noticed is that I'm swollen and puffy "down there" I think this could extra pressure?
Well, I am definitely looking forward to my appointment this morning. It seems that on top of all of the early labor signs I'm experiencing and some of them becoming more uncomfortable, my palpitations seem to be coming more frequently and are keeping me from relaxing easily.
I woke up a little before 2am because I needed to use the bathroom. Well, while on the toilet peeing, I had a "flutter" in my chest that quite possibly could have been my lungs. Then I went to the kitchen for some water and went back to bed. I laid down in bed and started feeling as if I wasn't getting enough oxygen (though I was breathing deeply). This feeling was hard to overcome and hard to not panic. I then experienced a couple of contractions. They weren't painful, but I found it difficult to relax through them or even concentrate on relaxing because I felt as if I wasn't getting enough oxygen.
I'm concerned that I may be having all of these early labor signs and symptoms because my body doesn't think it can handle being pregnant much longer. I'm definitely requesting a closer look at what's going on with my heart as soon as the baby is born.
I'm also going to have my doctor make sure all the precautions are taken care of during labor and delivery because it seems as though the palpitations occur directly following increased activity (of any kind, just simply walking after sitting will do it) or when my emotions rise.
Meanwhile, LO keeps applying pressure to my cervix....
Is it over yet?
Not over yet hun! I hope your appointment goes well, and it does sounds like your body needs this baby to be done cooking a bit early. I hope you can get some answers to your heart issues, that sounds scarry. I can imagaine how that would be very distracting during labor. Can't wait to see how your appointment goes today
Hope your appt. went well.

Well, my appointment went well, I suppose. I had an emotional breakdown in front of the doctor. I think it was brought on by a mix of lack of sleep, physical exhaustion and discomfort, and pregnancy hormones.
I mentioned the palpitations again and shared with her my encounter at 2 o'clock this morning and she is now wondering if it's asthma related. She thinks that I may be having a slight asthma attack, and my lungs constricting is causing my heart to go wacky which is why I'm feeling palpitations. So I'm supposed to use my inhaler when I have a palpitation and see if that prevents the feeling of not getting enough oxygen.
I came over to my mom's house after my appointment and I just had a palpitation again, so I took a hit of my inhaler, and now all I feel is my pulse racing a bit.
She didn't do a vaginal, and I didn't ask for one. I listed all of my early labor symptoms and she said I'm probably going to go early, but that she can't do anything to help speed it along until 37 weeks and only with medical reason or she'll get in trouble and be written up. I chuckled then asked "so what if I go buy some castor oil?" I chuckled after I said it, cause I'm not that desperated yet. She laughed back and said "then you'd have a really bad case of diarrhea and be even more miserable". I love my doctor.
After I mentioned that I do have my baby shower to look forward to on Saturday she said there ya go, that'll put you in labor every time!!
We had a talk about post partum depression, what doc wouldn't bring that up with the kind of emotional breakdown that occurred?.
She did give me a glimmer of hope reminding me that my cervical os was slightly open 2 weeks ago, so that I'm probably not going to be pregnant for the full 40 weeks.
We, again went over the when to go to the hospital list, and then she scheduled the next 3 weeks of weekly appointments.
Then I left the doc's office, called my mom, had another good cry, then I drove past my house after seeing that my babysitter's car was not there (DS convinced him to take him to McDonald's) and then I went by the store and got myself a Mt. Dew, a turkey salad sandwich (yum) and a tiny Ben & Jerry's ice cream , and now I'm feeling better emotionally. I doubt I'll do any more laundry today, though.
So I suddenly have this excessive amount of discharge and it's white and lotiony, not clumpy at all. I have swelling, but I've had that all week without the loads of discharge. There is a smell, but my skin is not red or irritated, there's no itching or burning.
I've only had one other yeast infection before in my life and it was clumpy and itchy and burning.....
I called the doc's office and the nurse didn't know what to tell me.
So, I'm gonna go to the walk-in clinic and see what they say.
I'll keep you all posted.
I'm going to guess it's normal, but I could be wrong. I'm interested to hear what they say? How are your labor symptoms today? Any more heart issues?
