Had my appt today we still dont have any more progress. Were apparently going backwards, last week he said 2 1/2 and this week he said 2. I told him he just gave me the extra 1/2 last week to make me feel better So we scheduled the BP profile for this Thursday and he said if we dont have a baby by Monday we'll need to get serious about getting her out. But hopefully we wont get that far. I want to try some at home methods for getting things moving. I think its to late for anything herbal and were allready doing the sex and walking... Any suggestions?
My midwives suggest trying castor oil before a medical induction. I tried it with Noah the night before I was scheduled to go in for my induction. I started having contractions about 2 hours after taking it, and he was born 11 hours later. I know there are differing opinions on castor oil, but I trust my midwives and am glad I took their advice over being induced medically. Good luck!

Can't hurt to have some Eggplant Parmesean and lots of pineapple, and of course DTD. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Maybe take a nice relaxing bath and focus on breathing and really focus on relaxing/opening your cervix? It may not help, but certainly won't hurt!
Have you tried nipple stimulation yet? That certainly brought on contractions for me....though it didn't start labor. Rub one side in circles for 5 minutes every half hour switching which breast you work on. There are also pressure points on your feet and ankles that are supposed to start labor...if you want to try them I'll be happy to tell you where they all are! One on your pinkie toe really is uncomfortable but my chiro says that it should start contractions right away....
Pumping! That's what my mw says she thinks works most often
If you're dilated to 2cm he should be able to di a membrane sweep. Pumping & castor oil are also worth a try at this point.
Do you have access to homeopathics? You usually find them at natural foods/pharmacy kinds of places. If so, get two each of Caullophyllum 30C and Cimicifuga 30C. Baby needs attation, I'll be back to post how to use them.
It takes 12 pounds of grain and 2500 gallons of water to produce ONE POUND of beef.
Livestock generates 65% of all human-related nitrous oxide, which is 296 times more warming to the environment than carbon dioxide; 37% of all human-related methane, which 23 times as warming as CO2; and 64 percent of ammonia, which contributes significantly to acid rain.

Castor oil worked here too I used it as a last-ditch effort to avoid induction, and it went MUCH better than the medical inductions I've had. Much healthier outcomes, too
i don't have any other recommendations to add, but wanted to say that's great that he's willing to let you go another week! it certainly gives you a chance to try and help things along. i hope someone's recommendation works!
