Hi! Sorry I havnt been around since weve been home things have been a little busy. Dh only had the first day off work after we got here so Ive been handling Jonas and Masyn by myself most of the time and that doent leave time for much else. Masyn is such a sweet baby, she is so quiet and calm (for now) and absolulely adorableJonas has been really good too. I feel bad bc I know he's not getting all the attention he's used to but things are getting better as we get used to our new schedule. Weve had nursing issues but theyre getting alot better. Masyn wasnt latching well at all and when she did latch she would barely suck. She went from 10lbs 6oz to 9lbs 5oz and now she's back up to 10lbs 2oz. We still have 4 days to be back to her birthweight by two weeks and Im pretty sure we'll get there
We had to do several very tiring days of nursing-pumping-suplementing every other hour and I was exhausted but she is now fully on the breast and everthing is so much easier. Except for the constant worrying that shes not getting enough
She is such a sleepy girl she would rather snooze than eat.... I'm feeling great other than being sleep deprived and that's getting alot better now that Masyn is nursing well. I havnt noticed my stitches at all and my bleeding has been very light since the first day. I definatly never felt like I had just had a 10 lb baby which was really nice
I do think my "Im fine" attitude has been less than productive since being home. Just bc I didnt lay around and act like I was miserable its like I was just supposed to bounce back to normal right away. Ive done literally all the housework since coming home except for 2 loads of dishes and taken care of both kids except for a few ramdom times Dh took Jonas with him to run errands. Grrrr. Dh just did not get the concept of a PP recovery period. But were over the worst part of it now and things are getting easier every day, I just needed a mini-vent
Time to go try and rouse the little princess for a feeding, hopefully now that things are settled down I'll have time to do her birth story soon

So glad to hear things are well for you! I hope your DH gives you a break every once in a while, I always went to take a bath and read....for a little bit at least. It's nice to be able to breath![]()
She is beautiful! What a cute picture and I love that dress. I hope you get a chance to relax and get some rest...I know that is easier said than done now that you have two kids. Looking forward to reading the birth story.
