Don't be surprised if the baby doesn't "really" drop until you're in labor. My #2 wasn't engaged down there until labor...whereas my 1st was engaged for FOREVER! She's just gonna drop and fall out one day!

I'm kind of afraid of this!! I was getting ready for bed a few nights ago and my BH got pretty painful and were coming every few minutes. I was thinking maybe I should get the bags packed just in case but Dh was at work my mom who's suposed to keep Jonas is out of town and I was super tired. So I was like screw it I'm going to bed if the baby comes tonight I'll have her in the freaking tub by myself! I dont have any secret desire for a waterbirth (looks too cold) but if I randomly think of having her at home I picture doing it in the tub

As far as my list goes it's really not that bad. I was hyper and got on it today and finished allmost everything! Except the car bc I didnt leave the house. And Dh had to work tonight so that was a no go

The water in a waterbirth is supposed to be kept very warm--close to body temperature, so I don't think it would be cold.

    You are getting close!

Yay for getting some things done, too bad it's so much harder to keep things "done" after the baby is born.....on that note I need to get off my bum and do something!

Sounds like you're quite ready to welcome that baby!! I cleaned out our van the other day and hubby put in the infant seat after moving the boys carseats to the back....it looked great...but I have to admit I was hot and tired after crawling all over the seats vacuuming! LOL...I don't fold as well as I used to!

I had my 37 week appt today, it went really well. My GBS came back negative I didnt have a cervical check bc they did that last week so it seemed pointless. Baby girl is still measuring a week ahead but I really just think my due date may be a week off. Or she's gonna be a little beefcake, Jonas never measured ahead and he was a big boy! I dont know if this being my second pregnancy would make difference with that? The Dr did a quick us to check her position and fluid levels. She's still head down and her fluid looks great And she is probably gonna have a head full of hair! He pointed out to me where the us showed little floaty lines above her head I hope she doesnt lose it all before she's born, but little baldies are cute too That's all for now time to straighten up the house and go to bed.

Glad you had a good appointment. At my last OB appointment we took a quick peek to confirm position, and I was trying to figure out if Ginger Baby had hair or not. Tiven was pretty much bald for almost two years and I really wanted to kiss some soft downy baby hair, so I'd like him to have a bit of hair.

Aww, Stacy! I'll keep my fingers crossed that ginger baby comes out nice and furry

I'm so excited, my list is done!! Yesterday I scrubbed my car inside and out and got the new carseat in so that's done. And I got the bassinet out of storage and set up so I think we are really ready. I was a little bummed when I realized my new bed is taller than the one I had with Ds so the bassinet wont be level with me it'll be a little low. But that's ok she'll still be right there for the first few months. Dh wants the baby to come on Monday bc his work schedule is a little lighter next week than usual. I told him starting Sunday he'll have to do his part to get things moving along He's out tonight for his last night out with the boys until after baby girl gets here and settled in. Totally not fair, I cant remember my last girls night and even if I wanted one now I would be too tired He deserves it though he really has been great about everything.
