Daniel had a pacifier from the beginning. He had a major oral fixation. The funny thing is, he's my kid that didn't learn to take from a bottle til he was almost a year old- so the pacifier didn't cause any problems at all. Don't worry about it, some kids just need to suck (And some mommies just need a break).
I'm so sorry about the family health falling apart. I hope things get easier for you soon!
(((((HUGS))))) Try the Binky Most Like Mother. It's the only one Gabriel (and many other babies!) will take! Try letting him suck your finger also. Hope everyone's feeling better soon!
I am so sorry everyone has been sick. ope they all feel better soon. No advice on what pacifier since DS never took one at all.
I'm so sorry you are having a really rough week. Keep yourself healthy and away from any germs lingering in your house. Hope everything calms down soon.

Sorry I'm really late with this, but congrats on your baby boy and your great birth! I'm glad to hear you didn't need to be induced.
My DS will sometimes take the Gerber Nuk pacifier. He *screams* if I try to put him to the breast when he's tired, but will bite my shirt or his fists sometimes. Sometimes he gags himself on the pacifier, though, so that's no help! He will let me bounce or rock him to sleep, though, and likes falling asleep when I'm wearing him (as long as I'm walking around).
I'm glad to hear your DD is over her ear infection, but sorry to hear your DH is sick now!
