Ethan has always slept between us. For this baby we're buying a cosleeper since there's no way we'd all fit in our full-sized bed!

I used a Moby Wrap with Ethan and LOVED it! DH also wore him in it a lot. It takes a bit of practice to get used to wrapping it, but there are videos on YouTube that demonstrate how to do it. Wish I would've known about them when I was learning how to wrap mine but both of us became pros in no time

What a neat story of how you and DH met, Kim! TFS

Sending lots of good vibes for a super-fun and hopefully not too exhausting day!

Welcome to your lodge! It sounds like you are well informed and ready to have a baby!!! I'm so excited for you!

We too cosleep in a king size without a bed rail and without a co-sleeping unit. I have slept with all of my babies that way.

Thanks for the info on the Moby wrap. I think what I'll do is buy it this week and practice wrapping it with my Cabbage Patch Kid, lol. He's a little bigger than the baby will be, but it should give me a rough idea as to what the heck I'm doing.

Thanks for all the support ladies. I'm going to hold off on buying any co-sleeping products until we get the little guy home and figure out what arrangement works best for us. It's nice to know that I could probably safely put him between us in a King size bed and be okay. There's always tons of room between me and my hubby when it's just the two of us anyway.

I had a great weekend. I went to a friend's wedding on Saturday - it was so nice to catch up with old friends. I spent yesterday just resting, which I needed. I vegged out, watched some football and ready some of The Baby Book.

Yes, practicing before hand would be a good idea! Just realize it's a bit harder to wrap and will fit different because of your belly. BTW, The Baby Book is great! I have quite a few of their books but started with The Pregnancy Book and then got The Baby Book.

Yes, the belly - I hadn't even thought of that. Sometimes I forget - lol.

I'm loving the Baby Book! So much great information. I've also read the Vaccine Book and will be using its information to plan my son's vaccinations schedule (we'll be delaying most and skipping some).

Things are going well. I stayed up a little too late last night, so I'm moving a bit slower this morning. I have a chiropractic appt. this afternoon. I def need it! I'm hoping maybe to get a little bit of shopping done tomorrow - I want to grab a few things from the whole foods store and Babies R Us.

I just read through your intro, nice to get to know you a little

I loved my wrap, it only worked with Andrea during the newborn stage then we switched but it was fantastic.

For my birth, I was kind of like you with having no idea at first. I just didn't know what I didn't know. Somehow someone or something put the idea of a natural birth in my head and I started reading and didn't look back. I'm glad you are the same way - I'm impressed that you were convicted enough to even change care providers, etc. Can't wait to hear about your birthing experience.
