Got a good 9 hours of sleep last night, which was great. The rain was a bit of an issue, since I'm sleeping downstairs in front of the fireplace and little drops hit the flue and make funny sounds, but I slept well regardless. I can't wait for the weekend (naps!!!).

I'm hoping to get some nesting energy this weekend. I need to do some Christmas shopping and some final cleaning (including one more load of baby laundry).

The full moon has been beautiful. It's done nothing to move me along, but it's beautiful. I been seeing it on my way to and from work over the past few days. It literally put a smile on my face this morning.

Work is going SLOW today. I've pretty much done everything I need to do to prepare for my leave, and there's just not a lot of paperwork to do.

I'm going to take a walk to the other building in a little bit. It's supposed to be fairly warm out. I'm in sandals (so comfy).

I figure later I can listen to my hypnobabies affirmations cd, too. I'll just close my office door. The only problem is that it usually puts me to sleep. lol

Where do you live that you're still in sandals? I've been living in my flip-flops, but they're forecasting snow for tomorrow (in Gulf Coast Texas!). And you're still working? You're one tough lady! I had to stop two weeks ago! Hope you sleep well again tonight!

    Good morning, ladies!

I slept well again last night, but of course I'm still a bit tired. TGIF! And, it's a dress down day at the school I work for, so I'm very comfy in my maternity jeans. Yay!

I live in a suburb of Philadelphia (West Chester). Yesterday, after rain the night before, it was close to 60 degrees for most of the day. It was definitely a sandals day (though most of the people I worked with looked at my funny for wearing them). They are just so much more comfy than sneakers at this point. I'm wearing sneakers today (high is around 50 degrees), and my poor, swollen feet feel trapped in there. Ah well, things could be much worse.

Everyone at work keeps saying, "You're still here!" - Yep - I'm only 39 weeks. I'd love to go early, but odds are I won't, so it's slightly annoying when everyone tells me they think I'll go early, etc. I don't want to have any preconceptions about when this baby is coming, as I don't want to be disappointed if he's "late." As I see it, whenever he comes, he'll be right on time.

Jobs for this weekend - go shopping (try to finish Christmas shopping, get to health food store, buy a couple more things at Babies R Us), do laundry, make spaghetti sauce and meatballs (make extra to freeze), and lastly, REST UP!

Hooray for the weekend! I can't believe it's still that warm in New England - crazy weather!

I don't know if the sneakers thing is enough of an issue to consider a small purchase at this point, but I've loved Crocs for the cooler weather. Since they're made wide anyway and are soft, they're pretty nice with swollen feet! =)

I hope you had a productive weekend, and that the little one doesn't keep you guessing for TOO long

    Greetings! Still pregnant - lol.

I can't believe I'm nearly 40 weeks! My EDD is Thursday. I have a midwife appt. tomorrow.

I had a nice, relaxing weekend. Watched LOTS of football games and enjoyed time with DH.

Looking forward to the big day when it gets here!

Good morning! Sandals sound great. Over here we have snow on the ground (NY just north of NYC).

And wow, your due date is getting close! I'm glad you got to relax over the weekend. Newborn babies days are not the easiest, and resting beforehand is helpful.

I have to ask since you live in West Chester, PA. Have you ever heard of a Philadelphia band from the late 80s early 90s called the Dead Milkmen?

My cousins LOVED the Dead Milkmen. I was a little young to get into them at the time, though. How cool!

Again, things at work are going slowly. I just got back from a walk over to the other building and my back is killing me. It's nice to be sitting.

Sadly, it's gotten a little too cold for sandals here, but I understand that Wednesday will be a bit warmer, so I'll bust them out then.

I think I've made my contingency work plan for if I go past my due date, which is Thursday. I'm taking Friday off, and then I will work 1/2 days the following week, if necessary, and probably also take that Friday off.

I ordered a few more Christmas gifts online today. I feel like I'm in pretty good shape (minus the wrapping).
