My pelvis is killing me and dh went back to work today. I think Riley is REALLLLLY low now. The contractions are worse when I'm standing, moving, or walking. Friday can not come fast enough, then I can stop worrying about them so much. I can not deliver before 36w because I would have to go to the hospital and we have catastrophic insurance with a HSA. So basically we'd pay out of pocket.

Friday I'm hoping to get my belly henna'd on! lol

Stay in vibes for baby Riley! I hope you make it to 36 weeks both for the safety and financial reasons.

I created my back up plan. I decided which hospital I would go to if I do go into full blown labor. I feel a little better knowing that I could go into labor late Thursday and STILL deliver at home if I go over to Friday.

I chose a newer hospital in the area that has CNM on duty, so I'm hoping that will help with any rudeness for grief I could receive anywhere else. I also made up my birth plan, but I need to print it.

Tomorrow I'm attending my morning class, Jesse is dropping me at the door and my class is right there. Then I'll be in bed the rest of the day.

On top of all this craziness, I have a sore throat.

Sorry your dealing with contractions already. It really stinks to have to worry about for so many different reasons!

How is your diet right now if you don't mind me asking? I have an irritable uterus and have found that since I majorly increased my daily protein, along with adding some more calcium that the braxton hicks I was having (at some points as often as every 10min or less) have calmed down. You just need 3 more days! Hope he stays put until at least 36 weeks for you and you can have your homebirth

Lots of calcium, protein, alfalfa, iron, and cramp bark tincture. The cramp bark is truely disguisting!

So in MI you can have a homebirth at 36 weeks? I'm in Manitoba Canada and we have to transfer to hospital if we're under 37 weeks. I hope your little guy hangs in there as long as possible!

One day closer to 36 weeks!

I hope you had a good class this morning, Kristina.

At our childbirth class at the birth center, they m/w said 36 weeks was the mark for when we could deliver at the center. Must be similar to your state's regulations.
