for now (nothing decided yet !!)

GIRLS: chloe, maya, mathilda, aurora, Layla, Calli, Loli .....

BOYS : florent, Florian... I still LOVE TRISTAN but DH is completely NEGATIVE about it due to the french base "triste" which mean SAD !!!! hrrrrr

SO I figure we will be looking at our baby and still have no names picked out!!!

DO YOU THINK IT IS A SIGN WE WILL BE BAD PARENTS ????
Of course not! When you choose the name and how difficult of a time you have choosing it has nothing to do with your abilities to be parents. Some people don't decide until after the baby is born and they can see him or her and then know what the name should be. My mom changed her mind and named my youngest brother a name different from the one she's picked out, because once she saw him, it didn't fit him. I had an easy time with Tehani because she's a girl and girl names are easy and I pretty much knew from the first time I saw the name that I wanted it, and DH liked it, too. If Tehani had been a boy it would have been a lot harder to choose and agree. For your girl names, I like Maya and Aurora the best. I like Tristan, but I know my DH wouldn't like it either...Florent and Florian are nice, though.

Yeah, that!!! My parents ditched the name they had for me because I did not look like "Amanda Jane" and we did not decide with our daughter because we wanted to meet her. We have no names even remotely agreed on for this baby boy because DH doesn't like ANY!

You will find a name sometime before he remembers being without! Your parenting skills are not determined by what name you give to the baby or what would have happened to my father? His name is "Gayland" but he has never used it!

Magali - you and your DH will be great parents! Anyone who can take care of 100 dogs will be wonderful

Picking a name is a big deal - don't beat yourself up that you don't have one yet. It's a lot of pressure! I love the name Tristan too.

I try not to pay too much attention to the meanings behind the names. Ironically, we're naming our boy "Dominic" which means "of god" and we're atheists!! I just love the name!

We don't have ANY names yet, either. I was hoping that you'd have some "extra" boy names! LOL I've been told that we're required to have one for the birth certificate before we leave the hospital here and I want out of there ASAP after LO is born, so we need something. If it comes down to it, we'll have to name him after DH and FIL and then find a suitable nickname later. I really want to avoid this, though, as "Gordon Durwood" is just not fair to the little guy!

I'm sure that as soon as you see your LO you'll know the name. I like Tristan, too, but I can see your DH's problem. I love your girl names!

oh Magli, i think it's a sign that you are a normal couple!!! I have heard of many couples who go into the delivery with a list of names and sometime after the baby comes they decide what he/she looks like or what seems natural to call them. It'll be okay, one day the two of you will have a 'light bulb' moment and your baby will not go through life nameless, hehe

I am ATHEIST too and one of the criteria for the name is "no religion conjuction".... (that takes a lot of them off the list)...

We both like Joshua... but for me it only had been a type of dessert tree "joshua tree" in california, AZ etc... -- since I never read any Religion book I had no clue what it meant so when I read in the baby name book and I had to I write it off my list!! hrrrr

I have 3 more weeks right !!!!! baby should only decide to come out when we have a list of name "solid one" !!!!

Jenn -- we have great clothes (very $$$) so the cold isn't bad.... I have issues with my hands sicen I froze couple fingers..... but good mitts and chemical hand warmer does the job. I just have a problem with sleep deprevation....
SO THIS MKE ME WORRIES FOR THE BABY !!!!!

But I love my dogs and this helps....
So I figure I already love my baby so sleep deprevation shouldn't be has hard... right ????

    For the winners...
I like Lance Mackey a lot and I can't stand Jeff King !!! My friend Ken Anderson (who is just proud father of twins) is doing pretty good now....
