It's been such a busy week!! I booked myself solid so that the week would go by quickly for me. Kids were home monday from school and we spent most of the day at a friends house. Then I taught Joy School this week, and ds2 had a play date with his friend here wed afternoon. Then.. I was surprised with a baby shower last night by a group of women from church. It was great fun! We went out to eat, and celebrated both my baby, and the 2nd baby of another gal that attends church with us. We're both due the beginning of feb. Now finally today I feel like I can slow down and breathe at least a little bit.. I still need to do housework, get baby clothes out and situated, dig out the newborn diapers, and relax enough that the swelling that's started this week can hopefully go away. I should also probably pack my bag and the diaper bag today since I haven't yet. And I'm working on thank you notes as well. But at least I don't have anyone coming over today, lol

A little about me for those that don't know me all that well I'm Nancy, 30 years old, and stay at home mom to 4 kiddos. Ruth (8 1/2yo), Jotham (nearly 7), Caleb (nearly 5) ,and Evan (nearly 2). I'm due with #5 on valentines day and I am expecting another boy We still do not have a name picked out, but we will by the time he is born. At least... we have with all the others, lol. My dh's name is Jacob, he is also 30 yo, and is a Mechanical Engineer.

Dh and I met when we were 18 yo. We were both in the dorms for our freshmen year of college, and discovered we had 3 classes together. We spent time together, discovered the other things we had in common and began dating one another. We dated for 9 months, and then dh left for 2 years to serve a mission for our church. During that time, we wrote, but didn't see one another at all. I continued to date other guys (he knew this, and they knew I was writing to him too) but didn't really settle down with any of them. I graduated with my associates degree, wasn't sure what I wanted a bachelors in, so I took off the next year to live with my Grandparents and help take care of my ailing grandpa. Then the time came that dh was to return home from his mission. I had finally figured out what I wanted to do as well, so I headed back to my parents home to be near the school I wanted to continue my education at. Well, dh got home, we saw each other, started dating again, realized we would be ending up getting married and went ahead and got married. He was home the beginning of June, and we were married mid august, just 9 weeks later. We moved to southern UT where he continued to attend school, and I took a few classes just for fun.

Well, my toddler is vying for my attention, so more to come later
