Wow, sounds like your hospital is pretty nice! How great that they have some NCB-friendly procedures in place!

Wow I am so glad you had a good hospital tour. My nephew was born there and I remember my brother and sil getting one of the delux rooms there. It was gorgeous as I recall - and that was 7 years ago! I'm glad to see some ncb friendly nurses/procedures there. I don't know if I'll go there for my next one or end up back with my midwives but your experience definitely makes me give it another look (not that I'm planning on that any time soon though lol). Your DH is so sweet - roses for your last day - that's awesome! I hope you enjoy your movies! I haven't seen Baby Mama yet but it looks pretty funny.
How was the movies? My SIL wanted to watch Baby Mamma with me but she coped out and went to see it at the theater.. Sounds like your hospital is WONDERFUL! Congrats on a good appt!![]()
Movie day was fun, we hung out and ate junk food all afternoon."Baby Mama" was pretty good, Tina Fey and Amy Pohler play off each other pretty well. And of course the part where Amy Pohler's character goes into labour it is the typical Hollywood insane woman antics, which is sorta too bad because there's probably some women out there that will believe that is what having a baby is like, but I thought it was funny because it was a little overexaggerated, kwim. Didn't scare me LOL!
Last night DH & I started watching BOBB, but we were pretty tired so we didn't make it through the whole thing. It's pretty good, while it's pretty one sided, at least it does show there IS another side. Already after what we've seen I think has helped dh understand more why I want a ncb. And he made a comment too about how the movie is maybe more about the U.S. system, and not so much up here, because our hospital seems to be a little more open to ncb. Maybe we'll watch the rest of the movie tonight.
Not much else to report today. I haven't had any contrax or cramps to report, I'm feeling pretty good, and for some reason I just have it in my mind it's still gonna be 3 weeks before we get to meet this baby. Now off to do some housework, just the usual dishes, laundry, vaccuming today (sigh: I'm done "work" but now I get to stay home and do more work!) although if I get ambitious I could pack my hospital bag and put the carseat in the van, but I doubt very much that will happen today. DS is still going to dayhome so I have the house to myself, and if I feel like it, I'm just gonna take a nap later!

Take the nap! The dishes, etc. will still be there!

Naps are great! As pp said your house will still be there when you wake upHeck maybe someone will even take some pity on you and help out! Hope you have a great day.
That movie was funny! Kind of a predictable ending though![]()
Yes, that is a typical "normal Hollywood birth"..I must admit it was pretty funny when they were in the birthing class and the instructor asked so how many of you are having your child the gentle...lalalala natural way and everyone raises their hand and then she asks "Now who is going to get a (don't quote me on the exact words) a dangerous epidural" and the girl is bouncing on the birthing ball and raises her hand and goes "Oh ohhhhhh".. that had me laughing..
I don't have the energy for nesting or ANYTHING! I am so exhausted!
I can't wait to find out if you are having a boy or girl!!!!!
