I ditched the baking idea. I was up so early with contractions that I am too tired to do much but plop on the couch, so I rested my eyes a bit while the girls watched their block of cartoons. I couldn't fall all the way asleep (I never can when they are awake) but I feel a little more rested now. I need to get ready and make their lunch before my appointments.

Baking was supposed to be a breakfast food for the week and our weekly bread, but since we have to do a Costco run tonight (desperately) I'm just going to cave and buy pre made stuff this one time.

I'm like Emily and Karly, my daughters birth was ultra straightforward, both boys, not so much. If it is any consolation, my boys have been my easiest newborns once they finally got Earthside

10/5/10 is a pretty cool birthdate. And shoot, 10/10/10 would rock. Thinking of you and hoping that once things really get going, they go quickly.

Sorry you had to ditch the baking last night. Ah, 1 week of premade from costco it is. We bake weekly bread too. I'm outta flour this week and have to go into the big city today to get some good stuff.

Hope your appts. went well yesterday and your visit with the doc. goes well today. Have a great Tuesday!

I think you deserve a week of pre-made costco baking. Take a nice break and enjoy the last couple days of being a family of 4.

Just woke up, and wouldn't you know that little stinker decided it would be fun to roll over and go posterior instead of staying OA like he's been for days? Little hands and feet stretching out the front wouldn't bother me at all, except I've done that song and dance before in labor and it is less than pleasant! So down on the floor for some pelvic tilts and hip rolls it is - hopefully he'll sink back around with minimal coaxing.

My appointment is in about two hours, we'll see what happens. I was contracting solidly for about two days by last night, they tapered off for the first time this morning, just a bit. The tapering off of the contractions seems to have accompanied his position change. Hmm...
