You look great, Taryl! I hope you had a fantastic time at your shower and the BH let up so you could relax and enjoy.
I"ve been crocheting newborn hats....so adorable and easy! Takes me (I"m slow) about 45 minutes to make one. And it's so nice to know that the first thing the baby you grew will wear is a hat you made.
How was the shower? Will you take pics of the cute stuff you recieved?
yay you have a lodge! I missed that you were having a boy. Look forward to following you!

You look great, Taryl! I hope you had fun at the shower!
I love the purple shirt!! You look wonderful! I kept saying I was going to go to the chiro this time, but the pregnancy just got away with me. I'm glad that you had a good appointment. How are the contractions?

Have fun at the shower tonight! Can't wait to hear about it!
I too keep saying that I need to go to the Chiro but have yet to make the appt. or get myself there. I'm glad that it has helped you so much. I always hear great things about chiro appts. during pregnancy.

Aww you look so cute.

You look great! Love the purple, it was my favorite color to wear both times I was pregnant.

Livestock generates 65% of all human-related nitrous oxide, which is 296 times more warming to the environment than carbon dioxide; 37% of all human-related methane, which 23 times as warming as CO2; and 64 percent of ammonia, which contributes significantly to acid rain.

It's my favorite color to wear, along with wine reds.
The baby shower went so well, though of course I didn't think to take any pictures and will have to wait for the lady who was in charge of the camera to email me copies. It was a total blast, the only downside being that somehow I screwed my left hip up while opening presents and it has been bugging me all weekend. It hurts to a lesser extent than it did before chiropractic, but this afternoon I have a massage/chiro combo to try and fix the issue, along with an OB appointment the next morning.
In better news - I AM TERM TODAY! Anywhere from now to October 18th, at the latest, will be my son's birthday. It makes it seem so much more real and I have a great deal more peace knowing that if these contractions do step up, I am likely to have a healthy baby and uncomplicated birth. Preterm scares me almost more than severely postdates pregnancy, so I am hoping I can make it in the range of the next three weeks or so and avoid any unpleasantness regarding inductions and such at the end. I have crossed the threshold for prematurity, so that is one battle down, hopefully none to go.
Still contracting and braxton-hicking here, but nothing to report. I am reasonably comfortable, unlike previous bouts of contractions and prodromal labor... I wonder if that may just be because I kwow what to expect and what is/isn't normal now? Either way, I'm ready to be done, of course, but also content to hang out for awhile too.
Given that my doula is out of town from sept 27th - oct 3rd, I am praying I go before the 27th instead of after my due date, when she is back in town, or during her trip, where I'd have to use her backup. I still don't think I'll go overdue but I am fully aware that may be wishful thinking on my part and am still mentally prepared to have an October baby rather than a September baby. Time will tell, one way or the other!
