Loved reading your intro! Hope the birth of your little girl goes much better and you can have her at the birth center. How awesome that both the midwives are Christian and will be praying along side you! I will also be praying for you :)

I hope you get the perfect birth this time!
Thanks for the prayers and comments everyone! I have an appointment on Monday so we'll see if she has turned yet! I doubt it though, she seems like she's in the same place although I am SO bad at knowing how she is positioned.
I loved reading your story, hun. I'm sorry you had such complications with your last pregnancy, and certainly hope they can be avoided this time around. *hugs* Your son is so beautiful, and the pictures of your relationship/marriage are so telling. The way you two felt/feel about each other really shows.
I can't wait until its your time, babe - crossing everything for you that it goes smooth! :)
Had my 36 week plus appointment today. BP was 100/65, gained 5lbs since the last appointment two weeks ago  (but didn't gain any two weeks before that). HB was 155 and she's still posterior. :( She's not totally posterior, just like she was two weeks ago though with her back on the left side of me. I guess it could be worse but she really needs to turn! So I will be doing more pelvic rocks and continuing weekly chiro visits.
Unless I go late, this was my last appointment with Dara my nurse midwife. Next time I see her will be baby time! Now all my appointments will be with Amy which is great!
It's interesting how all of this will play out though b/c although Amy will be attending the birth (unless she has another one at the same time), she can't do anything to help deliver the baby. Since I'm a VBAC and Dara is a Nurse Midwife she HAS to do it. If she can't make it in time (she lives about 2 hours away), I can labor at home as long as I want and if it comes down to it, DH can deliver my baby at the birthing center w/ Amy verbally guiding (that happened just recently, she was 12 minutes late for the birth!). Which IMO is much more preferable than checking into the hospital.
SO. Hopefully that doesn't happen; I'm not known to have short labors anyway.
Sounds like your hangin in there. The thought of your hubby delivering your baby is special!
Guess I should bump this up huh?
Had my 37+ week appointment today and baby has turned! She still favors my left side, but Amy said she's in a good position now for birth. Yay! :yahoo: I guess the chiro is working!
Talked to her more about the birth/delivery. I guess I'm getting antsy or something. I wasn't checked but she said next week she can check me and strip my membranes if I'm dialated/soft.
Gonna start taking EPO vaginally. I asked how many I should insert and Amy said "Put half a dozen up there if you really want to have this baby!" Hehe.
Had a shower today thrown by the ladies from my Bible study. They were so generous. Now I can finally buy all the last minute stuff I need. I am in total nesting mode! DS's birthday party is Saturday so I need to focus on that and focus on getting through a few more weeks of babysitting!
I'm glad to hear she's moved out of the posterior position. I think I've read that being on the left is a really good position to be in. Most babies lie to one side or the other, very few start labor completely anterior, but it is supposedly easier for them to rotate clockwise than counterclockwise, so being on the left is better than being on the right (where my baby prefers to be).
Yay for your baby shower! How fun! My friend was saying the other day that she wants to throw me a shower, but she is going to wait until after the baby is born now because I'm getting too close to set one up before he's born now.
I loved reading your intro! Your little guy is just a month older than my littlest guy. Aren't they so fun?!!! I will be reading your lodge. I hope the Pre-e stays away, and it sounds like you have been doing all within your power. Enjoy your last little while being pg!
What a story! TFS!
Glad to hear bubs has turned- hope she stays well positioned for you!
