Okay, since it sounds like you're teetering on the verge of desperate (IMO even considering castor oil qualifies you as desperate) here are some sure fire (just for fun, but can't hurt) ways to induce labour:
(1)You know the Murphy's Law rule about how AF will show up if you go out in public wearing white pants and without any supplies, well, similarly you must think of what would be the most inconvenient time/place for baby to come, and then put yourself in that situation. So start by unpacking your hospital bag. Then make sure there are no groceries in your house, I'm not sure I'd go so far as to dump milk down the sink, but you can determine your own level of committment to this idea. Then go out, spend money on a movie and popcorn, with the idea being once you've spent the money baby will not let you actually sit and enjoy the movie and treats, rather that will be the time baby will choose to arrive.
(2)Bake a cake. This is actually my dad's idea, his theory: You know how they say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach? Well, there's a bit of truth in this, men, even newborn baby boys, do respond to food. And EVERYBODY deserves to have a birthday cake. That baby is just waiting until you have baked a birthday cake for him, so all you have to do is bake a cake. As soon as you have a cake ready, he'll know that's supposed to be his birth day, and he'll make his appearance. When dad told me this I thought it was just stupidest thing I had ever heard. But when I was 41 weeks with DS1 I was getting desperate, I had already tried pretty much every other labor inducing trick, and I figured there wasnt any harm in trying this. I also rationalized that it'd be good to have cake all ready to serve to guests that stopped by to see the new baby. (Also could have been that final nesting instinct kicking in). So I thought it was worth a try. As the timer on the oven went off for the cake, I stood up and felt a gush. My waters had broke! (Dad’s “cake” trick actually worked LOL!!) Nolan was born 12 hours later. (*this works for a BOY, hopefully it will work on a baby girl too )

Belle, that's funny! I do feel like I'm a little too prepared b/c I don't have any more to do. I may bake a cake, but I'm much too organized to clean my cupboards out!
So this morning I had a weird experience. I had inserted to EPO pills before going to bed and when I went to take a shower this morning, my liner was soaked. Then I went to wipe and it seemed like a little fluid just fell out of me. So I was almost convinced my water had broken, but I didn't lose anything else the rest of the day so I guess it was just the EPO coming out or something.
Anyway, went in tonight for another sweep and I pumped/walked/took cohoshes for an hour afterwards. Just some mild crampiness so far.
I was at a solid 2.5cm and 75% effaced so that's progress at least. Amy estimated the baby to be around 8 lbs which is what I was thinking. We also confirmed my ovulation dates and my due date is right on.
So we're just in a wait-and-see game right now. I sure hope I don't have to try anything else again. That's more the reason I want her to come at this point!
Progress is a good thing!! Your so very close hun and I can't wait to see your baby
I thought of you--I was reading this packet I got from my first Hypnobirthing class, and it had a recipe from an Italian restaurant in Georgia that apparently pregnant women go to to order the Eggplant Parmesan on their due date and they go into labor within two days.
I commented on your other thread, but just wanted to say it again: hang in there! It's hard to be patient, but trust your body. When the time is right, it will be your turn. Sending labour vibes your way..... and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
What worked for me was getting super super relaxed. lol. But seriously, Monday night i decided that nothing was going to happen till my due date, DH gave me an amazing back and shoulder rub, then we did a hypnobirthing session. I was SOOOOO relaxed it felt great! I also kept repeating to my body that it was time to, this sounds silly i know but i think it might have helped, "release the baby. It was time open up and let baby come into the world." It sounds really silly but i've heard that you can subconsciously get things going by telling your body the right thing.
I wish i knew how to help you. BIG HUGS!!!!!!!!! Hoping something works for you!

TTC in fall/winter of 2014
I had light contractions on and off all day yesterday and I think they're starting up again today. Hope it's actually doing something, they're usually not painful, just uncomfortable. Of course they stop when I lay down at night which is good really, but I know it's just practice labor.
ETA: Also, I've been having LOTS of discharge. It's like I lose part of my plug every time I wipe! Is that normal?
Ok just googled the discharge thing, could be a sign that labor is close! It's not bloody or brown tinged yet but it's definitely mucusy. Or maybe just a nice reassurance that my body *is* doing what it's supposed to!
