I too love, love, love your wedding dress! With your black hair, ugh! Just gorgeous!!! The proposal sounds totally picture perfect as well. Seeing your early belly pix took me back - it's neat to see how far we've come and how close we are. I'm glad this little bean stuck!

Welcome to your lodge! Love your intro! Wonderful pictures and a great story! I don't even have any sisters, but I can just imagine how wonderful it would be to be pregnant at the same time as two of them! How exciting!
Looking forward to following another member of Jordan's clan! :)

Welcome to your lodge!
My first time around, my oldest sister (redmom) was due 3 months before me with her 4th, and my next sister (loriloo) was due three weeks before me. Sharing a pregnancy with both sisters was a blast. Lori and I were on the same BB and ended up delivering only 2 days apart. And we're all into NCB. It's SO fun to share that with sisters, huh? This time around, Lori was pregnant 4 months before me, so we shared it again.
ETA: We're all HUGE Billy Joel fans, too- a a matter of fact, all of us happened to go to one concert while pregnant with our first child:). One more fun thing we have in common:
Anyways, congrats to ALL of you. And welcome to your lodge! Can't wait to follow your journey.

Awww what a great story!! I have to say, I think about you ladies when I daydream about beginning the birth traditions for our family. I hope our children are just as close and involved in each other's lives. It is truly something special.
I'm so excited to see how everything goes!!

Thanks everyone! I loved my wedding dress! :D
Tonight I decided to pack my hospital bag. I don't want to have to use it, but better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it, right?
Here is what I put in my bag:
My Bag
* pjs & slippers
* toothbrush & toothpaste
* hairbrush & ponytail holders
* shampoo
* razors
* deoderant
* nursing bras
* nursing pads
* nipple cream
* maxi pads
Baby Bag
* a couple sleepers
* hats, booties and mits
* diapers
* diaper cream
* baby loton
* receiving blankets
anything I'm missing...?
One week until I'm all clear for my homebirth. I'm very excited!
I'm so excited to meet this baby, but at the same time I realize how easily contained it is right now and want it to cook for as long as it can.

The only thing I can think is maybe some lotion or something that smells good to you (scented massage oil or something like that). And maybe a comfort item; picture, blanket, pillow, or something that you can focus on and will make you feel more at home (if that's possible in a hospital).

Something to read, like a magazine or book. Depends undies (they are the BEST right after birth, trust me!). Tylenol. Peri bottle.
Even for a home birth it's really nice and convenient to have everything right in one place for the first couple of days when you probably won't want to be walking around a whole lot.

Ariel, that's a great idea, I didn't even think to bring something homey.
Arty, where would I find a peri bottle? Walmart?
