nak - yay!
I haven't been able to get on the computer. newborn plus 5 is busy...but everyone is well...so happy i waited for my body to do its thing. 2 yr old is jealous and grandma is tired...kind of ready to do this on my own but grandpa is coming to visit for a week...baby sleeps and eats and poops a lot...it has taken him a while to get the hang of latching on...actually still a work in progress. he is slightly jaundiced but ped did not think we needed to check levels on wed. he is a doll. daddy hasn't been home much to hold him...i feel bad about that...he didn't take any days off from work since we had the 3 day weekend.
i would like to write a birth story but it is hard with one hand. i will say one thing that i keep thinking about...i think i wrote that i would often wake up at the same point in the joyful affirmations where she talks about making decisions for your baby's birth...i realized soon after he was born that i really did have a lot of decisions to make right before he was born about the induction or not, stripping membranes, belly binding, and even deciding when to leave for the hospital. also after he was born regarding when to go home. so i am really glad i was especially aware even subconsciously that these were my decisions. have to go...hungry baby!
