I got some sleep last night and after 2 days, the nausea has passed, so I'm hoping for a better day today. I still had to sleep semi-sitting until 2:00am, but I got 3 hours of real sleep which is a good night for me lately.
I have this one class---my first one on A days (every other day) with 4 of the most obnoxious and rude girls ever. They always argue, walk in together 10 mins late in a pack and refuse to sign for detention, talk and laugh during instruction. And say very rude nasty things to me in front of the rest of the class. Bleh. I have that class on a different curriculum just b/c of those 4 girls. I can't do any direct instruction, no class discussion, no reading aloud to them. They just do worksheets, which is totally lame. I keep telling myself: only 4 more weeks.
One of the girls was not here today b/c she took a swing at the principal !
The others were much better after I made the whole class sign a contract saying they would follow the rules until the last day of class or get a referral which excludes them from the last 2 days of school where there are fun activities and a field trip to an amusement park.
I leaked some kind of fluid after peeing (I hope it was just more pee). That happened once before a month or so ago and it didn't happen again, so that's good. I do have cramps though. As much as I don't want to go late, I'm not quite ready to give birth this week.
Sounds like a great strategy...hope it keeps working for you! You don't need to be hugely pregnant, working full time, AND dealing with troublemakers like that (seriously, a swing at the principal! Jeez, you're not kidding about these girls.)
Cramps and leaking...take it easy! Hopefully it's just more of the same. At least if you do end up with a baby in a couple of days, he'll be considered full term, though! A much less scary proposition than before.
I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well lately!
I wonder what that fluid could be! I had similar sensations in my last 2 weeks of pregnancy or so, and then labor started with the waters breaking more completely. I do wonder if the small leaks I was having earlier was waters or pee. Who knows?
Those girls would push me over the edge. I can never understand the nerve of some kids. Taking a swing at the principal is crazy! I'm glad to stay with the Kinders and deal with smaller dramas like tantrums and the such while teaching. Hang in there and take it easy, sounds like your body might need you to slow down.

I had the fluid thing, too, about a month ago. It didn't progress into anything but I hope you can get some relax time. Sounds like you need it!!! Did you say you teach middle school or high school? I can't believe a girl would swing at the principal! holy cow!
Good grief, where are the parents!? How completley uncalled for. I'm so sorry you have to deal with such gremlins. I think it's a good idea to make them sign that contract. Kind of sad that the entire class has to suffer because of them, seems so unfair.
The last month or so of pregnancy can be so quirky - cramping, leaking, hormones all over the place. I hope your able to get some good rest tonight!
