any news??? sending ELVBAC vibes!!!
It is indead about a quarter to 1 here! Still no new I guess...thinking of you Mama, can't wait to hear how things are going.
Hope you're doing well, Taryl! Thinking of you!
Ugh, still contracting strongly, but spread apart. Not as close as last night but they didn't go away like before either. I am also losing more plug, I thought I had lost it all in the catheter dilation but it seems like some regenerated and then dropped out again, so all good signs. I could do without the backache but oh well. We got our birth plan done - one copy for this weekend if we go with the midwives and one for if we go with the OB, so it all works out.
I also FINALLY got DH to read his portion of Hypnobabies and pulled out the smaller guide - we are the WORST procrastinators on this sort of thing. It takes strong contractions and impending labor to get that man to prep ANYTHING (well, me too I suppose, so I am not one to talk!).
Callie is with Grandma today, as is the usual saturday ritual. So we're loafing and getting a few more things done. I'm not bothering to time these contractions unless they get noticeably more intense and close together, but they're definitely not what I'd consider comfortable, and pre-Hypnobabies propaganda () I'd say they're quite painful.
Being eager for pain, how demented is that?!
Was hoping I would be reading a VBAC story right about now!!! Here's to hoping for more......pain???
Nope, didn't want the 19th. And my doula is back on tomorrow anyway. Too many birthdays in this family on the 19th already!
Well, ya know, Cindy (lifeisgood) never had tremendous pain with her contractions and look what happened to her.
Predictably unpredictable, right?
