With this one, I waffle back and forth daily. Some days I feel pretty strongly the baby is a boy, other days it just seems more likely the baby is a girl (since we've proven we can produce those ). I've sat down and contemplated it more often than I'd care to admit considering how little I even THINK about this pregnancy, running around with a naughty 15 month old, but I always come up with nothing definitive. And anyone who knows me knows that I don't do 'indistinct' positions all that often!
I am HOPING for a boy, just so DH doesn't start freaking out thinking we're going to have 6 girls (though he'd love them all dearly, he wants a son to show the manly ropes of life ) but I am leaning towards a girl. I'll be pleasantly surprised either way, that's for sure!
As for names, I do have those picked out but I am reserved on them as well - when I meet the baby I'll figure out what fits, until then I love my choices but they don't feel 'real' without someone to attach them to. We'll see!
6 girls...you crack me up! Make it a few more and you could have your own softball team!!!
As for board straddling, if I am honest the smartest thing I could have done was go to April in terms of due dates and stress, as I was toward the end of March. But I never felt at home there, I really preferred the ladies on our board and just enjoyed posting there a whole lot more. Go with your gut on the issue, but if there is one group of gals you just latch onto that should be your board.
Truth be told, I feel like I belong with SOME of the mommies in July (like, 3/4s of those are on this board!) but March 07 will always be my birth board, you know? It's like home base! I find now that I have BTDT I need some developed support for a few issues, like this VBAC, but I have little need of most of the normal functions of a birth board. Half the time I just dropped into July to encourage and give advice, but especially with such a young baby it was like a complete redux of information and not as helpful to me this time around, since I'd just experienced it less than a year earlier!
But just as I DIDN'T get so much into July, I got MORE into the specialized boards, like this one. There's a place for everyone on this site, there really is. It's just finding what you need and a few great friends to share it with
I don't know though, that's if we are blessed with all singletons. I'd probably bawl for a month if I was having twins - all of you twin mommies AMAZE me and I am not sure I'd be able to rise to the challenge as well as many of you have! But I couldn't IMAGINE just having two or three children, and being done before 25. It'd probably break my heart (and my ovaries, they'd punching me every time I pass a cute kid!)
Anyways, I'll be stalking!

Yay for large families I got mine through remarriage, but six kids is plenty for us and we got 3 of each. Can't be that!

I loved reading your intro. Thank you so much for sharing your story. I truly hope that you have the beautiful VBAC that you want! I too have slacked with the Hypnobabies. Everyday practice is such a HUGE commitment and although I'm 100% on board with it finding the time is still hard to do sometimes. I'm working on it though!
I too have had to bite my tongue numerous times especially recently with our BB. I think I too will probably have to stay away for a while because of all of the induction talk and negativity. I'm glad we have such a wonderful supportive positive group of women here on this board who understand how we feel.
Welcome to your lodge! Thanks for posting such a great intro (((HUGS))). You certainly have had a rollercoaster ride these last couple of years.
I can't wait to hear about your wonderful, peaceful VBAC! Oh, and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who's been slacking with the Hypnobabies . Oh, how I wish I'd found that course with my first baby!
