Also, can we know your name? It missing in your lodge, and in the list up top I understand if you don't want to share, but if that's the case can we give you a nickname? Thanks hun!

I enjoyed reading your intro. I think it's beautiful that you gave birth to your first two babies at home and the way nature designed and that you want to do the same again.

Do you have a "birth room" picked out? Do you have pictures of your DS1's foot print, I don't think I've seen one like your describeing? Hope this weekend holds some excitement for you!

Thank you for the encouragement! We are actually traveling over to my parents house to deliver this one...I wanted the option of a water birth and they have a HUGE garden tub...I'm excited and once I get checked on Friday...we'll stay the night and perhaps weekend at their house just to be on the safe side....granted we only live 9 miles away LOL.

I don't have foot prints of my #1 from the day he was born...we waited until he developed some lines (footprints) before trying to get them.

Yes, exciting plans for sure...I think my Dad was a tad concerned as to how it would all come together but now that everything is ready...even down to all the birth supplies over there...I think they're excited!! We'll bring the boys with us and they'll stay upstairs (asleep I hope) while we're delivering....if it's during the day, they'll likely go next door to my sister's house. I can't imagine trying to arrange childcare and dropping kids off etc while in labor! I think I'd be pretty stressed if that were the case...especially since my last one arrived in about 2 hrs. I see my midwife this Friday and will have an update for ya'll on what's going on up in there!! I'm hoping to hear from her that I'm 2-4cm like with the last one Then maybe I'll have NEWS on Sat.

OK girls...had my appt today!! We are dilating and effacing!! I'm about 6 days earlier being checked than I was with my #2. I'm at 1cm and 25% effaced (compare to 2cm stretching easily to 4 and 90% effaced at 36 1/2 weeks with my last one) SO...I doubt I'll have a baby THIS weekend...though she did say things can kick in REAL fast at any time...I'm thinking sometime later next week or next weekend...which would be good as I'd be 37 weeks or nearly there. She DID give us the "green light" on normal activity and that when I get the contractions not to worry or try to stop them (as we have for the past 6 weeks) I'm relieved and excited. I honestly didn't feel that I'd have the baby THIS weekend...though my family would be happy if I did since their schedules are all clear! I've had a feeling since the conception of this baby that I'd deliver on or around the 25th....(I wasn't sure I'd make it that far given how early the boys have come...but I'm thinking it more likely this time!) So we'll wait and see what happens...I've had a bunch of contractions today and will have hubby give me a long awaited foot massage!!
