Nothing much going on at all. My modem died, so I'm writing this at my mom's house. I have a clinic appt. Tomorrow (boring) and a MW appt Thursday am. Oh, and the birth tub is being delivered Thurs. afternoon. Things are getting close! I'll be 39 weeks on Thursday. I get to keep the tub for 3 weeks, so I guess I'll be having a baby sometime between now and then. I don't really feel any different, though. I get a little crampy at night and I've felt a couple of pinchy twinges in my cervix, but nothing major. Baby is still hanging out up in my ribs. I really wish he/she would move down. I guess I ought to walk more. Oh, we did a belly cast the other day. We took some pix. I'll post some when my modem is fixed (hopefully tomorrow afternoon). I was working on knitting a cute little newborn sized kimono top, but I decided that I hated the pattern, so I ripped it all out and I'm going to knit booties and a matching hat instead. Hopefully this will be a quick project that I'll actually get done by the time baby is here. The kimono would have taken me forever. Next project, I'll use bulkier yarn so that I can finish it in a reasonable amount of time (before the baby is 18, preferably). We got a new chicken yesterday. The lady across the street brought her over yesterday. She just got her the other day, but her chickens won't accept her, so she thought she'd see if ours will accept her. Ours aren't laying yet and this new one is. We're slowly introducing them. I really hope it works out because she lays big, beautiful greenish blue eggs. Her name is Princess Henrietta! Isn't that cute? So, we'll see. Maybe she'll inspire my ladies to start laying, too! So, that's all for now. Just hangin' out, trying not to freak out about the fact that I have to push a baby out of my body soon.
I'm excited to see pictures of your belly cast - very cool!
Post pictures of your hat and booties when you're done. I'd love to see them!
YEAH for Momma knitting baby wear!!!! Show us! Booties are fun to make I think. You can finish one in an evening if the pattern is easy.

Ok so, I went on a long walk today and then had sex this afternoon and about 15 minutes later, my water broke. I guess this was almost an hour ago. I'm feeling crampy and maybe had a contraction? I dunno. Mostly I'm just nervous! It's so funny because I finally decided that I was ready to have a baby today. Actually, tomorrow would be better because that's when we're getting the birth tub. So, I'm going to go do some laundry and gather things and I don't know. I don't know how I'll feel, but if I'm restless and have time I'll update.
Wow how exciting!!!! I hope you have a nice easy labor!!

Try not to be nervous! (Yes, I know....) This is a very exciting and wonderful time. I distinctly remember the tiny blue flowers I saw on the walk I took before our little guy was born. I thought of them throughout the delivery! That same little guy brought me buttercups he picked from a bus shelter when DD was born 5 years later.
You're going to remember this day forever! So I guess this will interrupt your knitting somewhat!
