I have to admit to being impressed at your contortionist skills too, I doubt I could reach my toenails now, never mind in nearly 7 weeks!

I had a doctor's appointment for tomorrow, but I've had to reschedule for Friday as my husband's uncle passed away and the funeral is tomorrow. I hate making the 2 hour drive by myself.

My labour bag is starting to come together. I've pack chocolate granola bars, two kinds of sugary gum, jolly rancher candy, and I still need to find something to drink to throw in there... I'm thinking 7-up might be a good pick-me-up. My camera is ready to go as well as my MP3 player. I found some great flannel men's shorts to wear during labour and I need to add my oat bag that you can heat or cool. While at my mom's house, I stole two smooth stones from her fountain to use on the pressure points in my palms. Anything obvious I'm missing?

Lemonade is a good choice if you are expecting to deal with nausea. Sports drinks are another good choice because you will be exerting yourself, just as an athlete would. I REALLY recommend bringing your own pillows! The ones at the hospital are nasty plastic covered things about as thick as a maxi pad! PLus, you'll probably find the pillows helpful in the car.

Don't forget a couple of oranges

I liked Gatorade during labor and for food, I wasn't hungry once I was in a reg contrax pattern. Now on the way to the hospital we picked up a dozen glazed donuts and I scarfed 2 of those, the had one about an hour after birth

Everytime I think about drinking during labour, I remember you mentioning this before and have vowed to not drink red liquid... lol

I guess it's been a week or so since I did a belly pic (I did post it... didn't I? heehee). I'll do another tomorrow, right now I'm in some ugly jammies and I'm braless.

The baby feels low today and is OP. Right above my public bone I can feel little elbows and fists. TMI alert... I got curious last night and did a cervical check; boy is that hard at 40 weeks preggers! I'm definitley high and posterior, softening some and possibly 1cm dilated, although it could be just a regular multip's os, too hard to tell from my angle.
