If you're losing more plug I don't know how your cervix *can't* be dilating and effacing. I mean, loss of mp means your cervix is opening and can't hold onto it, right?

And I totally think you could jog. Natalie Moralis on The Today Show was jogging right up until she had her last baby

    That's what I'm hoping!

Oh, and as far as jogging is concerned... may I just say, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. And that is all.

I'm getting some more contractions, some are stronger than others, but no real pattern yet (although I haven't actually been timing them). We went to the grocery store and 4 times I had to walk like a hunch back with some nice ones (and chase a toddler during one!). They've eased a bit recently, but after supper we're going for another walk.

I'm making a chicken dinner with all of the fixin's tonight. If they're going to try to starve me tomorrow with clear fluids and the odd snack I'll need to sneak, I want to make my last real meal a good one! Mashed potatos, turnip, carrots, stuffing... oooooo, contraction!... roasted chicken and cranberries (if I can convince dh to go back to the store to get them). Yummy!

Sounds like good things are happening!! (isn't it strange that so many people are excited and overjoyed at your discomfort??)

Enjoy your meal, and remember I bring snacks along as well. I have two kinds of granola bars and some of those fruit to go bar thingies with the veggies... ummm... some raisins, juiceboxes, and pop (caffeine for me, mainly )

The trick with food at the hospital is not to ask! If you don't ask, they can't discourage you, and the official policy is that they don't restrict food, so there's no REASON to ask to eat. Just walk down to the cafeteria and grab whatever you want.
