    Ahhhh, what a wonderfull story! You did an AWESOME JOB! Did you think you where having a boy? I loved that part of delivery, getting to look for your self is really a cool moment!

    Way to GO hon!!! Yay you for ignoring the OB ... their knowledge and experience so often jsut doesn't apply to ncb. I hope he learned something from you!!!

    Eventually Sandy came around and started to relax a little and get involved. Rob talked with her a little about my past birth experience and when she saw Dr. A joking and being laid back with us, she started to as well. Later, after the birth she would tell us that she’s glad we weren’t as “straight laced” as she expected.
    I experienced a similar attitude from nurses in the hospital where i delivered M... somehow they didn't expect me to be a nice person. I think more mamas need to write birth plans becasue SERIOUSLY... just becuase we're willing to be assertive what we want doesn't make us mean people!
