hi, great story
I have swollen feet and ankles too and the doctor said it was fine as long as it doesn't spread to my legs/face. They go down by morning.
Sitting OR standing for long periods makes it worse as it restricts circulation. Walking or laying down on your left side isn't as bad. If you are sitting, elevate your feet. For walking, make sure you have loose socks and shoes, constriction will make it worse. If you don't have loose socks, skip them! I never wear socks at home now either. You can always place your feet in a cold bucket of water too assuming heat is a factor.
Congrats on your lodge! You are a cute couple
I would always swell by the end of the day and what worked for me was putting my feet up and getting DH to give me a foot and leg massage. I miss those daily massages.

Welcom to your lodge! Great intro! Your dh sounds wonderful
The best thing to do for swollen feet is to stay off them as much as possible and elevate them. Cold packs (so you can keep them elevated) or a cold bucket of water as the pps mentioned will help too. I had extremely swollen feet after delivery and the nurse that came by told me to stay off my feet for 2 weeks! Easier said than done, but it will help if you can do that.

I loved your story and your pics! Your wedding pics are gorgeous! I'm sorry for the losses of your 2 sets of twins. Good luck getting the swelling in your feet to go down.

Aww thanksIm a lucky girl. And believe me he acts younger than his age too
haha he's a big kid when it comes to "boys toys". I think thats why he is secretly hoping for a boy - so that he will have someone to play with!
The really neat thing about the surgery was we actually have a picture of the egg that turned out to be our baby!!! The surgeon took photos while he was in there, and he took one of the follicle that was really big and swollen and he said that was the one that would have released a few days after the surgery...earliest "jelly bean" photo ever!. He said it was really lucky too because he accidently almost "burst" it during the surgery!! But he was a fantastic doctor, he was so careful in there I only bled for 1 day after the surgery.....making the nookie on the 4th day possible! I'll try to post the pic if anyone is interested (of the surgery, not the nookie! haha)

WOW! what a great story! I had no idea about your medical history. how wonderful that you became pregnant right away and are able to plan a home birth. I am amazed that you followed your instincts and kept searching for the right doctor, what a blessing your little baby is. I agree that you and your DH sound perfect for each other. It is always great for a daddy to have a boy but daddy's girl is just as wonderful too!
I'm so excited to follow this with you! I'd love to see the picture of the egg if you get it on the competer! You and your DH are sooo cute, and I can't wait to see your baby![]()
