Glad you are doing well and hope that your reflection/meditation are working to get you into a comfy spot. I know that I don't feel ready for this baby at all....and am hoping that after Friday (my last day of work) that I'll get my mind in the right place.

That's good that you feel like you are dealing with whatever might be holding you back from starting labor. I can understand where the tentative feelings are coming from. Sounds like you are ready to move past that and get this baby here!

Okay, baby2, mommy and daddy are ready for you, you can come out now!

Sounds like you are really getting to the bottom of what may be holding you back. I hope Baby2 makes his/her entrance soon!

Sounds like Baby2 is just quite comfy and happy exactly where he or she is. I know that this can be frustrating, waiting and waiting and wondering when, but it really won't be too long now. You're not even post dates yet! I hope you don't go another 2 (or 3!) weeks, and that you get to meet Baby2 shortly

It's taken while, but I've finally made it over here to check on you. I am not at all suprised by the drama with Wayne's X....that's her M.O. And I totally laughed at Skyler saying he was afraid of the Easter bunny......did he really think you'd believe that one!

As for the baby...I'm feeling girl this time. She's gotta come soon. Can't wait to hear.

Yesterday was very promising. I woke up at 4:06am from contractions about 5-6 minutes apart. They were relatively strong - some strong enough that I had to try to rearrange myself to try to get into a more comfortable position (unsuccessfully). This continued for about 1.5 hours. I managed to get to sleep for about an hour, and when I got up (7am), things seemed to be relatively similar. We had breakfast, gardenbug and my dad took DSS to school, DH decided he would be industrious and checked the chemicals on the hot tub (which was WAY HIGH in chlorine), I turned on the heat in the sunroom and relaxed inthere a little while. Things slowed down. I took Indy for a walk and things picked up again. I took another nap around 11:30 for an hour and woke up with some REALLY GOOD contractions about 10-20 mins apart. That lasted until about 3:30pm - so I called the MW to give her the head's up. She was waiting for a phonecall from another midwife for backup, but told me not to worry, that if I needed her she would be there ASAP (30 mins instead of the usual 10). No problem. Gardenbug and my dad went and picked DSS up at school and took him to TKD. It was nice to have the time alone.

DH and I decided to play DSS's new PS2 that he got for his birthday. Contractions basically stopped at that point. DH and I decided that since things had seemed to be progressing, we'd try to get them going again with some spicy food. I got the tabasco out, we made fajitas and I think I put a whole teaspoon on each of my two burritos.

    Nothing.

I think I had about 2 contractions between the call to the MW and when I went to bed at 10:45pm. This morning I've had a couple, but none last night, and nothing serious. I was fully expecting to wake up again with some good contractions. Oh well.

DH went to work this morning.

I'm getting rather frustrated at this whole labour thing.

Why won't it just happen already? GRRRRRR. Especially after yesterday.

I think I'm doubly frustrated because with Reed my water broke, I had mild contractions every 20mins until 1pm-ish, and then Reed was born at 3:52pm. It's now been almost 1.5 weeks!!! huh?

Now to find a positive attitude...

Ugh...so frustrating. I don't know what it feels like to go into labor spontaneously, but can imagine it is quite irritating to think...okay here we go....wait, no we don't.....maybe...no.....maybe....no.
