LOL about your DD thinking the baby will come from the store!
Sounds like your appointment went well and you are getting close!

How are you doing this week? I hope all is going well for you!
So, overall, pretty boring appointment this week; but the exciting news is that baby furniture has arrived and I can finish nesting!
38 week Appointment update:
- gained 2 pds; makes it about 32 total
- 116/70 Blood pressure; urine checked out fine
- Group B Strep test was negative
- Fundal Height measured at 36 weeks
- Heart beat was in the 140's
- Based on feel alone, they estimate the baby to be about 6pds right now
- 30% effaced, soft and 1 cm dilated. But, still posterior cervix so labor isn't likely to happen until at least 1 more week.
- Next appointment is 4/7/09

Sounds like a good appointment. I'm always jealous of you ladies that are dilated some before your EDD... lol
Link to see the baby gear and the room!!
Since the furniture arrived last Wednesday, we tried to finish up the baby room this weekend. It still needs some little touches, but is essentially complete. There is a link below to see the baby gear and the room. This is just the gender neutral stuff. Also, not pictured is the car seat that matches the stroller, the new Graco double stroller we bought and the exersaucer and bumbo for when the baby is older. Other than that, it's essentially everything!

Very cute! I like the sun/moon/stars. Looks like you're all ready to walk a newborn into that room. And the closet is so organized! Well... the whole room is so organized... tell me the rest of your house isn't like that? haha
It depends on the day! Some days it's very organized and others not so much! The living room has been taken over my toys, so I'm trying to find a reasonably priced solution to organizing it all -- but, the stuff I love and would like to use is super expensive! We are watching our spending right now because of the economy, DH's job isn't that stable (company has already had 2 rounds of cuts) and the with the new baby coming. So, it's a project likely on hold.
AND, You should the storage room right now! Oh my goodness, you can barely walk in there! DH is letting me get another storage / shelving unit and that will help, but really, keeping all the baby stuff really adds up fast! Since we don't know whether this is a boy or girl and aren't sure if we are "done" after this, I'm trying to get things in order down there. But, it's a lot of work! I've been storing all the old clothes in those vacuum seal bags. But, even then, it takes up space!

It's terrible trying to store baby clothes. I think we're going to have another kiddo or two but I'm so tempted to just get rid of all the too-small clothing and start fresh when/if we have another.
Are you still working?
Yes, I'm working! My last day is Thursday, April 9. Then my daycare lady (who is planning to keep Kendall while I'm in labor) is out of town April 9-13 (her brother passed away recently); so, I'm hoping baby stays put until at least April 14!! Please send me lots of no-labor vibes until then!!![]()

Wow! Everything looks great! Congrats on your last week of working. We are holding out for the week after Easter too. Things would just be easier then, I know!
