We went to my bil's and sil's yesterday and sil has a baby scale so I weighed Piper and she is 8lb 2oz with clothes on so yay she's keeping up with her brothers lol. I was a little nervous that I wasn't nursing her enough because she sleeps so much and when she does nurse she passes out after 5mins! But obviously she's getting what she needs!! (I definitly produce WHOLE milk LOL)

Beautiful birth story and she's a gorgeous baby! I'm glad to hear that the post partum period hasn't been too rough on you. Do you see a chiropractor? Perhaps an adjustment would help with that pelvic pain..

Yay for the weight gain! Weighing them can be very reassuring in the beginning when you don't know if they're getting enough. WTG, Piper!

So she's a couple days after 1 month but we had her 1 month check up today so I thought I'd do one last update.

She weighs 9lb 6oz, 22 1/4inches, head is 36 cm. So she's definitly growing and dr was very happy. Nursing is going great! She's been sleeping much better at night, only waking once to nurse and falls right back to sleep. I'm feeling 100% back to normal besides some last bit of bleeding, which just turned brown today so looks like I'm not going to bleed for the 6wks like I normally do YAY!!

Only issue we had was the dr being concerned about her protruding hard belly. He wants a sonogram to rule out a tumor (I can't think of anything it could be otherwise, but I don't know much). I did notice it Sat but thought it was normal till the dr pointed it out before me saying anything. She hasn't been fussy or gassy or constipated or anything out of the norm, she's been a very happy baby. So part of me is not too worried but because the dr was concerned, he's got me concerned. (he's a pretty laid back dr., like me, with ds3 he had a heart murmur but the dr asked if I wanted an EKG done and I said no and he was fine with it because ds was healthy, not blue, not having issues with breathing and gaining with no prob.) So because dr is concerned of course I get worried. I hope and I'm sure it's nothing but we want to be sure so we'll be doing the sono tomorrow at 11am.

So I guess that's all, we're all doing well and the boys are still enjoying Piper a ton!!

Way to grow, Piper! Glad to hear you feel pretty much recovered. I hope the issue with Piper's belly turns out to be nothing serious!

That's great to hear that she's nursing and sleeping so well! I hope her protruding belly turns out to be nothing to worry about. KUP.
