It's shaping up to be a delicious sugar coma inducing cake It is so freaking rich, like, I don't think it's legal in some countries to use this many calories in one cake kind of cake.

Thank you for the link Jackie, I gave the carseat to DH last night and told him to figure it out. He had it off in 10 minutes, go figure. He then harassed me about being bully with it and not finessing it off, smart arse

My goodness, that's an involved recipe. Your baby will be 3 years old by the time you make the whole 7 layers! That means the birthday girl will be 17!

    Oh my goodness...rich!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Can I have a bite?

Wow that cake looks amazing...definitely something my DH would love. I am getting so too much chocolate makes me sick. Although I think I would be freezing a piece like was suggested that way you can enjoy it after baby...even if it is bite by bite.

I'll mail you a piece! I'm hoping to have it assembled this afternoon. I'm not exactly a good baker but i've done some decent stuff for the kids. This one is very involved but actually not the hardest one I've done.

OMG, that cake looks freaking DIVINE. I just pinned it so I can go back to it later after baby is born and make it while I'm home for three months! I totally agree that you should freeze a piece to eat after the babe is born!!

As the for Spacers' closet story - I love it! What a way to be left alone in the hospital to labor as you want to... BWAHAHA!

You must freeze a piece for yourself!!

You all must be much friendlier than me. I don't know the names of my UPS or FedEx people. I didn't even know the name of the UPS guy who came to my lab nearly every day for awhile. I knew the names of his grandkids though!

Yay for having the car seat cover off!

Great news that your DH finally got the carseat cover off. I was able to get mine off just fine, but didn't even attempt to get it back on. I just ask DH before even trying. Hehehe...

That cake looks heavenly! I agree with everyone else...freeze a piece for yourself to eat after baby is born.

    LOL!!!

Car seats - we went out last week and bought two new ones so that we could fit 3 across the back of our Toyota Echo... Cheaper than a new car, but $300 each? Really? They should give you tax breaks for car seats considering everyone has to have one!

But they are still in the box!

Holy Crap, $300 EACH!!! That's insane!!! I've been keeping my eye out on Target to get an extra for Clara for our truck. It would just be so much easier than always taking hers out of my van to go with daddy.

So, I've nibbled here and there on I swear, just tiny pieces of the cake parts and now I'm getting really groggy from the blood sugar increase. I'm currently shoveling cheese and lunch meat into my mouth to negate the effects of what I'm sure are high blood sugars. It's amazing and aggravating all at the same time how crappy GD can make you feel when numbers get a bit high. I'm so over this GD, I want to feel normal again!!!

The thing is about these car seats is that they are the narrowest on the market and we need to fit 3 across the back... OY!
