Wow, what a story! And what timing for that phone call...how are you guys managing with that??

I hope she settles down and gives you a bit of a break soon, but I'm glad your labor/delivery ended up going so smoothly and your tear wasn't too bad!

I am feeling pretty well. My tailbone was pretty well battered during the birth, but it gets a little better each day. We don't have any prospects yet. He will be OK financially through the end of the year, so he should have time to look.

We are doing OK. He is on family leave at the moment. He goes back to work soon until his last day.

That's great that you have some time to look without too much pressure. Hope it all works out even better in the long run!

Glad your tailbone is feeling better too. Not that you're a novice, but I was really surprised how long it took me to recover from my birth. I hope your recovery is smooth.

I'm glad you're not too freaked out about DH losing his job. My DH lost his job when I was pregnant with Tiven. I went nuts. It all worked out in the end, he stayed home with the baby, but I was absolutely bonkers about it for a while. You're a stronger woman.

I hope your tailbone keeps healing. Do you have a donut for sitting on? That's supposed to really help relieve the pressure on the area.

Doing great. Pretty much healed up. Emily is one month today. She's growing so fast. Not sure how much she weighs, but she is able to wear 3-6 month clothes and no longer has that newborn baby look. Norm got an extension on his position. They are keeping him there until November 1, so that will help financially. The kids are all doing well. Four of them start back next week (two on Monday and two on Wednesday). Isaiah starts back a week from Tuesday. I am so looking forward to them going back to school. They are starting to get bored and fight with each other and act out.

All the parents of older kids I know are super relieved when summer ends! YAY for an extension on the job and for Emily growing so nicely! And quick healing! I was still shockingly sore at 2 months out last time...glad you're feeling good!

I'm happy that baby Emily is doing so well! Of course delighted about Norm's extension which may give him time to search out other opportunities with less stress for all.
Hoping that school goes well for all this fall!
