Thanks ladies! I might mostly be talking to myself here...it's been so quiet on this board lately! But that's ok...I talk to myself a lot anyway

I don't have much time right now but wanted to say hi and that I'll update more soon. I had a checkup yesterday but nothing to report from that. Doc says we are just waiting for labor and didn't intend to check me unless I wanted him to. I was a bit curious just to see if anything changed from last week, I was 1.5 cm dilated last Wed, but didn't mind passing in the check either. I have been having a good bit of pressure and low back pain in the evenings. I was having contractions about every 5 to 5.5 min, lasting 30 seconds, last night when I laid down to go to sleep. Super mild though so nothing major. I feel yucky today...really nauseous, actually got sick this morning. I feel like things are starting to happen but who knows really. I hope she stays put until at least Sunday so I'll make the 37 week milestone

Hi Lynn, welcome to your lodge!!!!

Hopefully those contractions will make your actual labor faster! I hope you can make it to 37 weeks. Do you risk out at all if you go before then? How early did your boys come?

Those contractions sound pretty legit to me. I had a bout of nausea the week before I went into labor. I know you don't want to go this early, but its exciting that your body is getting into gear.

Honestly it's going to be hard not to be ready for her any day after I hit 37 weeks. Logically I'd like her to make 38 weeks...just seems better for her developmentally but I'm also ready to be done being pregnant and it's a real possibility for me since I have a history of going early. Makes it hard to stay patient

Mel, no I won't have any major issue with not making 37 weeks as far as risking out. But last time the hospital made me do the antibiotics saying it didn't matter what the GBS result was...prior to 37 wks gestation was automatic by their protocol. I also imagine I'll have an easier time with having them do delayed cord cutting and letting me hold baby right away if she is a little more baked. Just my guess though.

My first DS was born at 33 wks 4 days following PROM at 33+1 and second DS came at 36 wks 5 days with labor again starting with ruptured membranes. DS1 spent 17 days in the NICU but DS2 was fine and able to come home with me the next day. So if I'm still pregnant this time tomorrow I'll be further along than I've made it before. I don't expect anything to happen that quickly.

that's good with not risking out! I knew your babies were early, just not how early! My midwives & hospital require a ton more monitoring if it's before 37 weeks so I was so glad to hit that milestone each time!

Everything ready with diapers, place to sleep etc? Who's taking the kids when you go in? Are you looking forward to labor this time?

I am looking forward to delivery! Ha, just hoping to have another fairly short labor. Tomorrow I'll be 37 weeks I'm just waiting now, interested to see how far I go this time.

Everything is ready for baby. I've been washing her clothes, have the last load in the washer now. I went today for a pedi. I've never been before but my heels were so dry and rough so I decided to do that this time before I went into labor. Baby will be sleeping with DH and I, we have a cosleeper and I found a good deal on a nice changing table with 3 drawers on the bottom. I have filled 2 with her clothes...I'll put diapers and other changing supplies in the top. We have some from a little baby shower I had last week. All those supplies are in the storage basket at the bottom of the cosleeper now.

I have some options AFA who will stay with the boys when I go in labor. My next door neighbor has said she'll come stay with them. They were on vacation this past week but should be back now. My mom is about 40 minutes away and just moved into a new management position this past week. She's pretty busy with work right now but I'll call her first and depending on the timing she might be able to come stay. We also have a sitter who comes to stay with the boys a few hours every morning b/w when I go to work and DH gets home. She asked me about it this past week and said shed be available to come stay with them overnight if needed too. So I don't know how that will work out yet but we have enough options I feel confident it's taken care of.
