So yesterday afternoon Aiden was acting off. He took a very long nap, wanted to cuddle, and asked to nurse several times. Today he has a runny nose and is pretty calm. I woke up feeling that pre sick off. Lovely.

Jackie! No! You're so not allowed to get sick right now. Hope it's super mild and fast if anything at all...

I've really enjoyed reading your stories. You sound so positive and prepared, it makes me feel like I can get there too. Can't wait to hear your birth story!

I feel like if I can, anyone can! You'll get there too!

Not feeling any worse. Just my throat feels a bit off. Had chicken noodle soup and I'm still taking my extra vitamin C as I've been doing for a few weeks now.

I still went to the "crafty group" this morning (I'm soooooo not crafty like these people) and it ended up being a surprise baby shower for me! I got homemade bibs, burp clothes, and soft sensory blocks! And one of the ladies is a cake baker and made this:

Hand done roses all around! It looked way better than my poor iPhone picture can show and it tasted heavenly.
It was a great surprise for me. I never expected anything since I've only been here since March.

Yay for a surprise shower!! That cake is adorable. Boo for illness. Perhaps its natures way of slowing Aiden down for a day or two to give you time to gear up for birth?

That's a positive way to think about it! I think it's just a minor runny nose. Or maybe his body fought off whatever it is enough to make it just a runny nose. He took a long nap today, but has been normal otherwise.
