So, here’s my story!
DH and I met at the end of University, he had just graduated and I was in my last year. We moved in together, and he went to work while I did one more year of school in a post-degree writing program, then we just happened to get jobs at the same company! He is an engineer and I worked as a technical writer. After a year of that, we decided to get married and start TTC, we were both in our late 20s by then and I was anxious to get started. Here are a couple pics from our wedding, in a public park in Calgary, we planned it in a weekend! (Sorry nthey're so big! I tried to resize...)
Soon after the wedding DH got a job travelling between Calgary and Houston, and he was gone a month or longer at a time! I was charting my cycle, and he just never seemed to be home during my fertile window
After a few months of this, he was finally home, on the day I ovulated, and low and behold, I got pregnant. We had already decided for him to quit that job and take another opportunity in Saskatoon so he’d be home more, and we’d put off TTC until we got settled, but of course, the damage was already done 
I couldn’t find work in my field in the new city, so I spent my pregnancy with Claire studying to get my real estate license and just taking care of myself. It was a pretty low-stress, easy pregnancy. I'll get started working on DD's birth story next!Last edited by MandyMommyto1; 08-29-2011 at 07:27 PM.
