I did my first set of kick counts today as baby hasn't been moving much. His movement actually started slowing about two weeks ago and as I got re-adjusted to his new "routine", today, he throws me off again. I did, however, cut a TON of sugar out my diet starting this morning b/c I was spilling a bit of glucose at my appointment yesterday and I'm terrified that insurance will cut us off from the birthing center if any sort of abnormality comes up-- they are sooo darn picky! Anywho, I got 8 movements in a hour, which isn't the ten they like to see but it wasn't worrisome if you add my instincts that everything is ok and the fact that I had changed my diet drastically in a matter of hours. The MW told me to slowly cut back on the sugar intake so I'll do that this week-- that is so me though, if I'm going to do something like that, I do it all the way and all at once and sometimes, it just can't be that way. Other than that, I'm off to clean up a bit. Been doing good at staying on top of my housework and I don't want to get behind as I need it caught up when he comes so I can lounge around for a couple of weeks after he is born without worry of anybody running outta clothes, etc.

So today, I've had lots and lots of period-like crampiness down there. Definately not contractions (no tightening) just that achey, "AF is about to come on or just started" feeling. Still don't feel like labor is anywhere near but thought it was interesting-- perhaps things are gearing up. I still would like for my water to break, just this once, at home, lol. I just want to be able to say something witty like Juno, "Thundercats are go!!!"

You are so funny. I would never wish fo my water to break at home but it does make for a better story later.

Started contracting really good every 8-10 mins. during Harry Potter. I have this thing with public restrooms and I needed to empty my bladder, figured that was triggering the contractions, but I waited until we got home. Bladder is empty now and I've drank some water (so maybe not so empty) and contractions have eased off. Full moon is tomorrow.....

Full moon was actually last night but it didn't bring me a baby.

Hopefully those contractions are gearing you up to go.
Although it seems a bit far away now, maybe a New Moon baby on the 30th? That's what I'm hoping for!

Been contracting every five minutes! Need to go to sleep but I'm too excited-- could this be it? Might I have an early bird this time???
