Oh, wow! Thanks, Christy!
I will give a nice long intro later. I got a call this evening from my OBs office telling me they needed to re-schedule my Thursday appt to tomorrow. Geez, thanks for the heads up. The clerical person who called acted like I was silly for needing to plan a little in advance. Thankfully, I have lots of family close that can watch the kids at the last minute for me.
So far this pregnancy has been relatively easy. I had severe morning sickness until about 18 weeks. It hasn't hung around like it did with my other two, so I'm extremely glad about that. I always swell horribly, but walking in the evenings helps. My only major complaint is that I have developed some horrible, and I mean ghastly, varicose veins. My legs look like those of an 80-year-old. I've had a few since I was a teenager, but this pregnancy they've become painful and torturous. Again, walking helps with the overall pain and bulging, but I haven't found anything that decreases their appearance. Sigh.
I have been amazed at the strength of the women on this board and look forward to gleaning some of your wisdom!
Had my appt yesterday. Everything looks great- BP was 112/72, weight was up 2 lbs from 2 weeks ago, baby's HR was 135, urine was negative She did the Group B Strep test and checked me while I was "undressed anyways" (she asked if it was ok first). Still high, closed and thick, which is a good thing at this point.
I don't have another appt for 2 weeks. I've started my EPO since I'm almost 36 weeks. I've been feeling so good, I'm afraid that means she'll come later than my other two (40 W and 39 W 5 D). I just remember being much more uncomfortable at this point. Other than the return of my MS, I've really felt great and had relatively few BHs.
I will come back later and post my previous birth stories.
