Welcome to your lodge! Love the stories so far- Christopher is such a cutie!
Welcome to your lodge! I enjoyed your intro and the pics...cute little Christopher!
It would be nice if this baby was cooperative and came on Labour Day for you!
Well, back to normal (or 3rd trimester normal) last night and today - terrible night's sleep with lots of pee breaks and sore hips. Oh well, I guess it's preparing me for what's soon to come!
Other than that, mild-but-annoying heartburn and crampy. And I've graduated to the really big maternity clothes in my closet, now that the stuff I've been wearing barely covers the bottom of my belly.
I have a whole bunch of big deliverables for the next 3 weeks at work, including hiring a manager for one of my teams. I'm working my way through it all as best I can, but of course no one else has the same sense of urgency that I do. I suppose the baby is in charge of his birthday at this point, so I just have to do the best I can and whatever isn't done, isn't done.
TFS your story! Your son was & is adorable! Sorry your night of good sleep did not repeat. Maybe tonight will be good!

TGIF! It's been a busy week, and I'm taking a break before gearing up for the afternoon (I have a big meeting at 4:30 that I have to finish prepping for). The good news is that I am working at home today, and have all the windows in the house open and enjoying the breeze.
Not much new to report here. I'm still crampy and with increasing heartburn (yuck!). I start my end-of-pregnancy weekly acupuncture appointments on Monday (just got the confirmation telephone call), so that's exciting.
This weekend, we plan to get the rest of the baby gear out of the basement (car seat, co-sleeper, pack n play, etc.) and get it all washed and ready to go. I will also pack my hospital bag and DS1's overnight bag, and I need to wash a few more of my baby carriers. I splurged and bought a Didymos cashmere/cotton blend Indio shorty on thebabywearer, and I need to wash it and re-familiarize myself with the rebozo carry. I also have a couple of long wraps that will be great for skin to skin with my new little guy. I can't wait to babywear again!
The little guy has the hiccups right now, and it's funny now that he's big enough that the hiccups shake my entire belly visibly!
Hiccups do that here, too, I love it!
Just keep doing what you can and don't pressure yourself too much. It's hard to juggle work and pregnancy
Have fun preparing baby items, I've been tossing my toddlers up in my carriers to break them in and get used to wearing, they've been surprisingly good troopers. By Christopher and Callie's age, they generally can sit still long enough to be patient with clumsy carrying (in my case) and I have found her really easy to practice my wrapping on.
Washing baby clothes and package a hospital bag makes it seem a lot more real, doesn't it?
