Thanks I'm hoping I will have time to actually use this lodge! We will know in the morning at my next checkup.

Things definitely aren't going as planned. I was going for minimally invasive and all that great stuff, but then I had a wreck that totaled my car. Premature dilation and high blood pressure from the stress of the accident has kind of thrown my birth plan out the window. My BP is back to normal, but I continue to dilate slowly.

As of Monday I was 6cm, 75% effaced, but baby was still -2. We shall see if anything has changed and go from there.

I've definitely not been comfortable the past couple days, yesterday I had a lot of mucus discharge... like a ridiculous amount and towards bedtime it was ever so slightly streaked with brown. This morning I woke up to loose hips, blah. It took forever for my hips to solidify again after DS, I have not missed this feeling one bit.

Hopefully things go well in the morning and I will be back to post an intro and all.

sorry that things were thrown off by the accident. Just to give you some confidence, i had to be induced at 35+3 with my first and had a very healthy little guy who came home after 4days (no nicu ). It's great that you are over 36wks and even though it's not ideal for you, you could def. still have a very positive birth experience (heck you'll be in transition before you go into labor ).

Are you they planning on letting you alone until you go into labor or will they do something if you've progressed farther. Either way, i hope everything goes smoothly and you can be in a peaceful place for this delivery!

I think there are 2 more october moms that'll be here. We do have the same due date.

The doctor said if I come in and am an 8 he would like to break my water. I told him I am not ok with that and he said whatever I want. Everyone is mostly just worried about my water breaking and me being so far from the hospital this early.

I was totally ok with an accidental home birth when I thought I would be full term, now I can't get over all the what ifs. He could be born not breathing and 911 is still en route to get to us and then him to the hospital. I just don't know what would be best.

Id love to wait it out and him come when he comes, but what if that is tonight at 2am... ya know?
