Congrats, that's super exciting! I'm still about 7 months away from my first homebirth
. Definitely keep us posted- we'll have to get a lodge going for you and stuff. We want to hear all about it!

That is great! I would love to hear whatever you want to share about it. I'm at a birth center with this first baby, but I'm certainly interested in going the HB route if we have more babies in the future, and I love hearing great stories!

I can imagine that many of your co-workers would be confused by this choice, but if anything it seems that you would have a better idea of what's going on during the birth from both a personal and professional standpoint.

Good luck with your upcoming homebirth! I love meeting maternity nurses who understand what natural childbirth is about. We'd be happy to start a lodge for you if you'd like one.
